I think Mediocre Generica is way better than FWT.

mole 10-13-2005 09:37 PM

i say morning glory > all crs7, but not by much

pedro durruti 10-13-2005 09:42 PM

Mediocre Generica

Drop The Baby 10-14-2005 04:36 AM

I prefer mediocre generica probably, but both are excellent
harlow 24th, underworld 25th. one of them may be a friday.
Yeah the harlow one would be on the friday

smokersdieyounger 10-14-2005 08:40 AM

Id say mediocre Generica first. I lent both of them to a friend, and told him to listen to mediocre generica first.

smokersdieyounger 10-14-2005 08:41 AM

Is that the underworld in london??

Scabies 10-14-2005 09:45 AM

yep

Skidmark Steve 10-14-2005 12:07 PM

this thread should start out with:

scabies and gentleman
from all the way in the back of the foodstamp line
and straight outta mother****in' lo-cash
that crackrocksteady beat drums on
so raise your mother****in' pipes in the air
for the good, the bad & the leftover crack

Dude3 10-14-2005 06:40 PM

I'll probably end up getting MG first.

I totally agree. Scabies and gentlemen, haha I like that.

Dude3 10-14-2005 07:12 PM

Today at the pool, I repeatedly screamed "The Good...The Bad...and The Leftover Crack!!". That and some Dillinger Escape Plan. Good times. Good times.

Permanent Solution 10-14-2005 09:08 PM

Question:

I really like FWT, but I hear a fair amount of criticism of this band being overrated and not doing anything new or groundbreaking. Honestly I've never heard another band like them. Can someone point me to some similar bands (and/or send me MG or some CV)?

AIRIC 10-14-2005 09:14 PM

No-Ca$h sound EXACTLY like Leftover Crack. The similarites are honestly, unending.

Permanent Solution 10-14-2005 09:22 PM

Where might I get ahold of some of their music?

Buzzbomb 10-14-2005 09:24 PM

I thought this forum preferred F'uck World Trade...

smokersdieyounger 10-18-2005 09:59 AM

But arnt No-Cash a new band like leftover crack? Im wondering who they have copied, only bands that I can think are like them are some ska punk, but nothing is quite like them.

Brain Toad 10-18-2005 10:04 AM
But arnt No-Cash a new band like leftover crack? Im wondering who they have copied, only bands that I can think are like them are some ska punk, but nothing is quite like them.
They formed after Choking Victim and Leftover Crack, therefore they copied their style. They are a crack rock steady band without having any crack rock steady members.

RetiredAt21 10-18-2005 12:23 PM

No-Cash are really good. I love the song Kill Your Parents.

Yo Vince, I can let you leech anything you want of CV LoC or MG. I love them all. And seriously I don't get how people say they're not original, I can understand why they say overrated but not being original? Yes sir they are original.

RetiredAt21 10-18-2005 12:30 PM

I don't think I've ever heard anyone call them un-original. Who says such things?

albert_bass 10-18-2005 12:36 PM

Adam or Dustin. Excursions or Shizzy, and some others I'm sure but don't remember.

RetiredAt21 10-18-2005 12:38 PM

What the crap? How can they say such things, especially when they aren't true. CV/LOC are HIGHLY original.

albert_bass 10-18-2005 12:42 PM

Ya I know, matter of "opinion"...

I just don't get it.

Scabies 10-18-2005 01:26 PM

Sat 26 Nov Crack Rocksteady 7 + Antimaniax + The Mingers + Death Skulls + BSD + Jackal + Infested The Underworld
London NW1

:D

RetiredAt21 10-18-2005 02:21 PM

Holy crap, that's gonna be one amazing show.

Skidmark Steve 10-18-2005 03:25 PM

I was reading LoC's Mediocre Generica lyrics. There pretty sad, poor guys got nothing to live for really

:D
oh my god that's a fucking amazing line up! crack rocksteady 7, antimaniax, mingers + the death skulls all in one show that's gonna be immense! crack rocksteady 7 were supposed to be playing in yeovil which is my usual gig-going town, i'm not sure what's happened about it

Drop The Baby 10-20-2005 04:18 AM

The crack rock steady seven is just Stza on his own again, like the acoustic shows he did earlier in the year.

I'll be at the underworld date though fo sure

Liebensaft 10-20-2005 02:12 PM

I wish LOC would come to Philly.

AIRIC 10-20-2005 02:18 PM

Does anyone have any of Stza's acoustic stuff shared anywhere?

Culture Shock 10-20-2005 03:57 PM
I wish LOC would come to Philly.
Did you miss them on their mini tour with the Subhumans?

Jersey's Best Dancer 10-25-2005 08:36 PM

I was listening to **** America By CV and it says "the trade center is bombed and the FBI is pissed" and the cd was put out in 1999. But the trade center went down 9/11/01.... am i crazy or what? They predicting **** or what?

Nerdcore753 10-25-2005 08:38 PM

It's been bombed before silly. It was a car bomb about ten or so years ago.

Jersey's Best Dancer 10-25-2005 08:39 PM

Oh, ok, haha. thx

The Infested, from Leeds these guys are awesome, they have the CRS7 sound nailed down.

Drop The Baby 10-26-2005 08:55 AM

They're playing the Crack Rock Steady dates. I'm not sure if they're playing LOC and CV music with just Stza singing or if they're backing his acoustic or something.

Scabies 10-26-2005 11:33 AM

I hope its not acoustic, although that would still be amazing.

Drop The Baby 10-26-2005 11:34 AM

You'd prefer a Stza fronted band to cover LOC/CV songs properly? I think i might prefer that but if it's acoustic i won't be complaining

Scabies 10-26-2005 11:46 AM

Yeah i mean id go even if it was Antimaniax Infested and Deathskulls because i love all those bands, but Stza just tops it off. cant wait :D

Theramed 10-26-2005 12:50 PM

can someone explain this for me please
