^ lol jus a bit too late.

maddog87 02-19-2005 06:17 PM

malcom was the one who wrote "back in black"

rippa32 02-19-2005 06:18 PM

Really? but its credited as A.Young/M.Young/B.Johnson

maddog87 02-19-2005 06:18 PM

malcom is probably one of the best rythym players out of all the classic rock bands.

maddog87 02-19-2005 06:19 PM
Really? but its credited as A.Young/M.Young/B.Johnson
he wrote it all except for the solo

rippa32 02-19-2005 06:19 PM

Yes but just remember some bands don't have rythym guitarists.

AB/CD 02-19-2005 06:20 PM

malcolm is good at rhythm and he did play lead on can i sit next to u girl but none of htem write any song on their own its jsut all bits and pieces from angus malcolm or brian or bon when he was alive

maddog87 02-19-2005 06:20 PM

true

maddog87 02-19-2005 06:21 PM

angus and malcom feed off each other when writing. they really make a good team

rippa32 02-19-2005 06:24 PM

Very true.

AB/CD 02-19-2005 06:24 PM

yeah im trying to remember what song it was but anyway they normally record anythign they r doing and let the other hear it then they decide wether to use it or not but 1 of the songs malcolm was gonna get rid of and angus ended up convincing him to use and i think that was back in black main riff not sure bout that

maddog87 02-19-2005 06:26 PM

i think that part of their sucsess is that they dont try to copy people. they just want to make good, hard, rock that gets your blood pumping

AB/CD 02-19-2005 06:28 PM

yeah they only ever did 1 cover song

maddog87 02-19-2005 06:30 PM

they did "johnny b good"one time at a concert. it sounded pretty good

maddog87 02-19-2005 06:38 PM

im pretty sure they did alot of covers at their first gigs. their main influnces was chuck berry,so they did alot of his songs

AB/CD 02-19-2005 06:39 PM

maddog87 02-19-2005 09:56 PM

Glitterati 02-20-2005 12:39 PM
School Days its on the TNT album.
I don't think there was a TNT album, I think that song was off High Voltage.

houses_of_holy 02-20-2005 01:00 PM

There was a tnt cd it was an australian cd(hard to find)

AB/CD 02-20-2005 01:05 PM

LP not cd and as far as i no the jack was written about all the people Bon had slept with before concerts and he wrote it so that during the chourus he oculd point at women in the audience as if to say he gave them the jack

maddog87 02-20-2005 07:47 PM

Yes there is a cd for TNT.

rippa32 02-21-2005 12:35 AM
ive been on it before. its a pretty good site.the title is talking about rosie
The title has nothing to do with Rosie. On the australian Let There Be Rock album instead of Problem Child there is a song called Crabsody in Blue. And to whoever said that The Jack is about crabs is wrong, The Jack is Australian slang for gonareeha(I think thats how its spelt).

maddog87 02-21-2005 06:16 PM

Bucky 02-21-2005 06:27 PM

This guy knows his shit.

Edit: To Rippa

maddog87 02-21-2005 07:02 PM

tnt was the second album they released in australia.came out just as "high voltage" went triple gold.

rockoutloud84 02-21-2005 08:34 PM

I play the drums and i can play a lot of the songs. All the songs on the back in black album are almost all the same. There are like three songs with one beat and three songs with another, ect.

Considering Ac/Dc uses the same beats every song.

Ta dum tch.

/acdc joke

/if you take it seriously you suck.

solosliveforever 02-21-2005 08:48 PM

AcDc is one of the greatest rock n roll bands of all time but thats just it, they play rock n roll, i love em, but theyre not a band that u sit down and try to understand lyrics to. Nirvana is the antythesis of AcDc where you can study wat cobain is saying, AcDc just plays pure rock n roll, but angus one handed on thunderstruck cmon

Why thank you.
tnt was the second album they released in australia.came out just as "high voltage" went triple gold.
Sorry to do this to you again but the australian High Voltage didn't sell all that well. It didn't even have High Voltage the song on it. Also the line-up was one that was before their classic line-up. It was Angus Young, Malcolm Young, Bon Scott, George Young(Angus and Malcolms older brother formely of the easy beats played bass on this album, he also produced it along with many other AC/DC albums), Tony Kerrante (no idea who this actually is).

national_chaos_jolliffe 02-22-2005 05:55 AM

their a good band... no questions asked

over and out
jolliffe
