I caught the first day of Carnavale in Venice and the last day in Köln, was pretty cool. I didn't dress up, though I did drink and dance a lot with a bunch of Spaniards and take part in the strawman burning.

Sounds sweet.
I only celebrated the dutch Carnaval.

I'm going to have a look at where I want to go for holiday this year. :-\
