Shut Your Mouth And Open Your Eyes is maybe my second favorite AFI album now. I listen to it more than all the others nowadays. The song 'Coin Return' rules so much. So much passion towards the end.

Yeah, same here. I used to hate it and I thought it was crappy, but the more I listen to it, the more I like it. Triple Zero is my favorite song off of it.

Depending on my mood, my three favorite albums from Afi are Art of Drowning, Answer That and Stay Fashionable, and Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes. They're all very overall great albums. I also dont think their new stuff is as bad as everyone says.

i love 'em. like many others i like their old stuff better than their new stuff, ie black sails and shut your mouth. they shouldn't be completely ruled out because their new stuff is different, however. i'm not really sure what to think of it though.

AFI is a really good band. when i first heard them i kind was taken aback by the sheer power, which i mistook for a thrash band. But now i couldn't live with out them. I own A Retrospective and answer that and stay fasionable. what i like is the crazy bass lines and fills and davey voice. awe inspiring

I can understand misplacing AFI in genres, but a thrash band? What, do you listen to nothing but like, the Specials?

It's all your guys fault. I went and downloaded another AFI album the other day. Haven't listened to it though.

My opinion has changed since the time where some skater kid I was friends with in 9th grade tried to force them down my throat and I was too busy being cool with my Eminem.

I think most of us, at one point or another were being cool with Eminem. I know I was.

Same thing happened with me. I was all into rap (especially Eminem) when a friend of mine showed me some bands. A few bands I remembered hating. AFI and Minor Threat.

I used to hate all punk rock in general. I was as gangsta as it gets.

I used to listen to 5 or so Eminem songs but I've never really liked rap much.


Except Bloodhound Gang's rap songs because Bloodhound Gang absolutely rule.

I don't know what's giggle but it doesn't sound very good.

I already have Sails from the Top 100 (I downloaded them all) and I have All Hollow's EP and The Art of Drowning.

AOD is my favorite AFI album.
