Well to be honest they have been very influential in the scene. In the same way people list Metallica in metal influences even though they're nowhere near the best at what they did. The bands that make the music mainstream still have tons of influence even if they weren't first, or best at it.

I didn't say that they didn't deserve it, even if I was thinking it, it's just we all know it will be someone from those bands, so why even go through with it?

I was thinking of doing a melodic hardcore profile, but since you ask I was thinking of doing a general jazz profile...
