i got a shaved head...had a hawk 2 yrs ago...and a tri-hawk that winter...i prefer shaved heads though...less s[/s]hit to wash...i dont shower often, but when i do, it takes a while...so no hair makes things faster :thumb:
I had a shaved head a month ago or so. I'm regrowing my hair now to get something cool. Maybe just straight hair. I would have to perm it because I do have curly hair and just dye it. Maybe neon green.

Brain Toad 01-11-2005 06:29 PM

I would think it's best to only use stuff meant for hair in your hair. Other s'hit will probably do some damage later on.

I had a hawk 3 years ago, it wa sonly about 5 or inches, and it worked find using hair glue. Hairspray is still the most recomended method. If your hair won't stand up, then don't have a hawk, not like it's a requirement anywhere.

honkybrewster 01-11-2005 06:32 PM
i dont know how many people here accually have hawks, none of the regulars i think, depends on what you call a regular, anyway...
I have a mohawk.

Sperm definitely does the trick :thumb:

I had a mohawk and having it killed my hair and scalp. I wouldn't suggest it to anyone unless you actully had the time to take care of it. I did but didn't know it would destroy my scalp.

Using glue is just so stupid.

TheNowhereman42 01-11-2005 06:42 PM

I used bar soap combined with hair spray for a while for liberty spikes, and that left my hair fine.

MechanicalClockworkOrgy 01-11-2005 06:57 PM

i recomend toothpaste for dreads, IF you want to smell minty for a month....... no lie there..... plus eventually they rot out and die, if you dont wash them often
sooo, if you plan on pulling a crustie, then dont use toothpaste

TheNowhereman42 01-11-2005 06:59 PM

I'm getting dreads eventually, except im using dread wax because it...works...and you can smell normal and still wash your hair

Edit: this punk chick at the bus stop outside my school I was talking to said "grunge is sexy" I thought that was kindof strange, because as a punk shouldn't she have said "Crust is sexy"?

Just ramblings, but you know

Johnny EPHC 01-11-2005 07:03 PM

Does anyone know what program to use to increase the bitrate of an mp3, and does it increase the quality at all?
Does anyone know what program to use to increase the bitrate of an mp3, and does it increase the quality at all?
I doubt you could increase the quality of an already recorded mp3

Brain Toad 01-11-2005 08:41 PM
Does anyone know what program to use to increase the bitrate of an mp3, and does it increase the quality at all?
Re-rip the mp3 from CD. That is the only way to increase quality.

I used half the studs from my ,(aleast what I think is number number of studs on them) 400 stud belt which costed $16
Heres pics of my jacket.

Guys I know I over used them but I am going to let Platium have some reference

Platium I think you should rip off the sleeves and put a totally different sleeve, but thats only my opinion feel free to do whatever you want and have fun makeing your jacket.

Anarcho Poser 01-12-2005 09:34 PM

I'll post pics of my recently patched hoodie if I get batteried for my camera...

Buy 500 or so and just get a back patch and cover the back with them and the sleves.

PunxS UniTx!

TheNowhereman42 01-12-2005 10:49 PM

Closest thing I have to a "punk jacket" is a red hoodie with a hammer and sickle over the heart, an Op Ivy patch over the right pocket, a Jam patch over the right breat, and a small Rancid patch across the bottom of the back.

I think i'm gonna spraypaint a big Crass logo on the back with an old stencil I made though. Will paint stay on a Hoodie?

Anarcho Poser 01-12-2005 10:56 PM

Probably. People paint T-shirts all the time, so I'd immagine a hoodie would be no different.

honkybrewster 01-12-2005 11:12 PM

Here's a hoodie I made using some stencils I got from mechanicalclockworkorgy, who happens to be God for having these.

just out of curiousity, is there any better way to attach studs to a jacket other than just pushing it through and bending the prongs with a knife? because that's a royal pain in the bum.
You bought those 20 packet studs from hot topic for 5 dollars did you not?
