Good lord this has to be the stupidest thread there is.
|
What was the point of that? Anyway...
If we consider It Dies Today metalcore then we have to consider FATA metalcore. They are pretty similar. |

Yeah, but you have to admit that they do sound similar, at least enough to undoubtadly label FATA metalcore.

I dont mind calling them metalcore, but I wont say they sound alike, sorry! |
Hmm, whatever. Opinons differ from person to person.
|
Lets us be honest her, FATA is pretty terrible no matter what genre they're in.

Truth. |
No, they're not terrible, their decent, and I like thier new album. I won't say their anything more though.

I still like them a lot, its kind of a loyalty thing since they are one of the first bands of that genre that I really got into back in '01. |
I just listened to Hopesfall's The Satellite Years on my way to work, while they aren't really metalcore anymore, they were back in the day and this album is amazing.
|
FATA is good music.
|
They were ever metalcore. @Hopesfall

"The Frailty Of Words" was metalcore, they got more artsy hardcore and post-rock i guess is what they are now. |
I never got into Hopesfall. What a gay name.
|
yuck.
|
Hopesfall has never been metalcore. They were post hardcore on Frailty Of Words and No Wings To Speak Of.
And if you haven't heard No Wings To Speak Of your opinion on Hopesfall is not valid. That ep crushes any other post hardcore recording of all time. Too bad everything else Hopesfall has done is mediocre. |
Says the guy who willingly listens to FATA @hawtie
|
Me?
|
See edit. I like Hopesfall's Satellite Years to a degree.
