PWD are touring with ADTR here in the states in the fall, I might go check them out live. Not a huge fan on record tho

I also saw Faith No More last week and got my ticket signed by Mike Patton yay. They were great and Patton was really funny.
So, so, so, so, so jealous. I would kill to see FNM. We need a North American tour, badly!

Next show I'm going to is Nine Inch Nails in NYC next week.
Is anybody else gonna try to make the Agalloch show in Chicago?
Despite what people say, they're really good live.
Glad I went when they were in Holland, because I don't think they'll be coming back anytime soon.

xMalcolmXx 08-18-2009 12:29 PM

publicastration 08-18-2009 12:41 PM

was at this is hardcore over the weekend

some mediocre stuff but some great stuff as well

Pulling Teeth, Ceremony, The Carrier, Coke Bust, Bracewar, Know The Score, Shipwreck A.D., Have Heart were all spectacular.

xMalcolmXx 08-18-2009 12:43 PM

pulling teeth, ceremony, coke bust, bracewar, shipwreck a.d. and have heart at the same show

sounds decent, i guess.

publicastration 08-18-2009 12:58 PM

same fest, different nights.

Deth 08-18-2009 01:05 PM

Judas Priest was awesome last night. They filmed the show to release with the reissue of British Steel so looking forward to picking it up. Halford had so many more gratuitious screams than when I saw them 4 years ago, but that might be due to most of the set being more accommodating to his range now.

For those who care (like, pate and that's about it) they played

All of British Steel
The Ripper (yesssssss)
Prophecy
Hell Patrol (yessssssssssssss)
Victim of Changes

Freewheel Burning
Diamonds and Rust
You Got Another Thing Comin'

Stormrider 08-18-2009 01:11 PM

I only have Stained Class and I haven't listened to the entire thing yet. I'll get Screaming For Vengeance or something once I get a new harddrive.

Anyway, I'm seeing Blasphemy in October.

Deth 08-18-2009 01:15 PM

get Painkiller obv

pate 08-18-2009 01:23 PM

Get Sad Wings before Painkiller.

I don't remember if they did The Ripper the first time I saw them. I haven't seen them to Freewheel Burning, or any of British Steel other than the 'hits'.

They played most of these songs when I saw 'em. Except for Hell Patrol, which would've ruled.

Did they finish every single song in a sort of epic drumsolo/painkiller way?
They did when I saw them. At first it was cool, but when they finish every song like that, it gets a little old.

Cannabis Corpse rules so much

Glitterati 08-20-2009 04:59 PM

I saw Rock The Bells (look it up) in Vancouver on August 1. My first hip-hop show, saw some amazing acts (namely Nas + Damian Marley, RZA, Raekwon, Common), beautiful day, got mad sunburnt.
