Apple Tree's starting to grow on me. Just what I feared.

Dude thats uber gay (Streetlight) BDO is gonn frkn rock with massive intensity! Now with more Mudvayne and Go! Team! WOOO...O rite Oasis pales in comparison to masses of insane bands at BDo, Kings of Leon? White Stripes? Franz Ferdinand? Etc. Woo.

i saw their EP in JB HI-FI a while ago. the sign underneath it said "better than jet!" and i thought "this has to be the way to go then!"

they're good. i need to buy their album.

jet sucks ****, they only have 1 sound. i cant tell 1 song from the next. i hope they all get stranded somewhere in the middle east so they stop emarrasing australia

jet does suck. i cant understand why powderfinger cant make it in the U.S. as an australian i wouldnt be embarrassed to see them tearing up the states.

im seeing these guys at the BDO in feb 06. Their Debut is rad.

I got their album last night, and I'm loving the song "The Joker And The Thief." I think Triple J has played nearly all these songs before, I just never realised they were all by the same band.

Wolfmother are awsome!!! Im gonna see them at BDO '06 , but I havent got their album yet. Is it good?

Wolfmother are beginning to annoy me. I loved them, now.. I have found things that I don't like. I could write a thesis but I won't.

triple j is the only good radio station available. If you dont agree, theres something wrong coz everything else is ****. Maybe you listen to RTR, but thats **** mostly. Id like to know what you hate about triple j :confused:

FBI is an ok radio station; but I'm guessing he does not like TripleJ because of their rather arrogant attitude - that and they are pretty commercial. They play NME music also.

Get this, in an interview with end of fashion on channel V i think it was, the lead singer had a full pay out session on wolfmother saying that he thinks the recycling of old rock is crap and that Jet were bad enough, how dare he compare jet to wolfmother, and i do not believe end of fashion are tredding any new water themselves the fuk ups, i suggest everyone not go to end of fashion at the big day out

Haha, the lead singer of End of Fashion, wat an idiot. Wolfmother are awesome (unlike Jet), so he has no right bagging them, when his band no-where near compares to Wolfmother. End of Fashion are a typical aussie band being produced atm *yawn* heard it. Im gonna c Wolfmother @ rock-it :D , they should be awesome, by going on other peoples opinions on the band, cant w8 :thumb:

Considering the fact that End of Fashion are a pop-rock band, I don't think indie fans will be offended.

Also, I don't see the problem with comparing Wolfmother to Jet. Seeing as they are both Australian rock bands, they are both majorly derivative, and they both suck major amounts of a[size=2]ss[/size]. They have a fair amount in common.

Ah yes, Wolfmother. Apparently, they don't really get along with Evermore.
I really want to hear some of their stuff, but from what I've heard, they're just another Jet (Ie: ripping off old bands and not acctually adding anything).
Their stuff is hard to track down, I can't find anything on my (normally) trusty filesharing programs.

Wolfmother are the shiznat, shame bout what the End of Fashion dude said, he just cemented himself in my trusty black book of dickheads, the lucky boy. It's not a real book btw, its just names i keep locked away in m' nogen. Well I wasn't planning on seeing them when I'm at Falls or Big Day Out but it is now confirmed that I won't see them at either. Thanks for the heads up!

And triple J is wicked, loads of new stuff all the time, Home n Hosed ain't bad, Full Metal Racket, and Jay n the Doctor all great.

I also think the lyrics are unoriginal and a little too...well you know. Gnomes? Witchcraft? Jokers and thieves?

But yeah, the music is what its about. Just good music. No effing around you know? As you said, no real ballads to speak of. Straight into it. Hopefully they'll expand and grow on their next outing, though.
