Someone in punk said "Mack-Eye"
It is Mack-eye |
What? Why would it be anything except Mac-K? People named Kaye have their name pronounced like the letter itself, and I would expect no different from that guy named Ian.
|
I always used to think that, but, REINER, (the mod in Punk) said his teacher used to know him, and he pronounced it Mack-eye.
Xiu Xiu is pronounced "shoo shoo". I have that on high authority.
The singer pronounces it that way, but in Mandarin Chinese Pinyin it is technically "Shee-oh Shee-oh," with the 'ee' part going really fast and the 'sh' being palatalized. But it doesn't really matter anyway. |
