I love the kit man. How much will you be selling those mics for?

vincethesk8r 09-29-2005 09:29 PM

The hoops on your BD are beautiful. They look like 2+ inchers.

i love your avatar. I duno about the mics, maybe 200 or 250 with the clips? we'll see.

vince- they were raw hoops from explorersdrums.com and i only roughly sanded them down. i belive they're 1.5" deep. I love them, esp. the contasting colors! but they were like $45 a pop IIRC.

RichHunt 09-29-2005 09:53 PM

You should "thank" her for the thoughtfull gift.
If you get my drift

And that looks nice, nice set-up

Chippy569 09-30-2005 02:08 PM

i cought your drift, but nothanks :)

the mic pack was 350 IIRC. stands are like 20 a peice, the CAD DSM1's were 20 a peice on the bay, and cables (i think they're all 20') were another 15 a peice.

Voodoo Rabbit 09-30-2005 02:09 PM

Wow, That kit looks fantastic.
(It probably very late, but 'Happy Birthday' anyway.)

Zi-Bels are VERY cool.

Chippy569 09-30-2005 02:19 PM

^ yeah i like the zil-bel but i want a deeper-toned one. Maybe that 13" paiste mega cup chime thingy is in my future.

Voodoo Rabbit 09-30-2005 02:22 PM

Yeah, whever I've played those little 6" ones, they're just wayyy too high pitched for me, thats why I got my big 12" Sabian Ice Bell.
