I saw Mars Volta and System of A Down last night. It was great. Mars Volta set used a lot of dark lighting so you could not really see them but they did play their best song L'Via L'Viaquez with a quick flute solo. SOAD was good but Mars Volta was like one really big drug trip(in a good way).

It's "Take a load off Fanny." actually. Not sure what the band is because Google is confusing me. I should have known.

Probably because they were known as the Hawks when they were with Bobby, why'd they change names anyway?

When they were touring with Dylan, and probably at Woodstock, people began to refer to them as "The Band". I guess something like "have you seen the band that's with Dylan?". And then it just stuck.

Hm, I'm thinking of starting my own Zorn collection sometime soon.
