I've never heard that one.
it's the "bonus track" or whatever you want to call it on their last album. |
They are, my bands covering F'uck Armageddon
Ahh. So have me and a few of my buds. Great song. Great band. |
They were good. Back before they became sell outs.
 ... Bad Religion is one of the greatest and most influential punk bands in the last quarter century. Even if you don't like them, you have to respect them. |
Not really. They don't have any bearing on the music that I like. They're just a band, they pretty much just bore me.
|
I love me some Bad Religion. I listen to them quite often.
Against the Grain is my favorite album by them. I was pleasently surprised at Process of Belief. I have to get around to picking up their latest release. |
Sorrow is my favorite song by them.

That song is off ther album, The Process Of Belief. |
Awesome band. I like their older music better than the more recent stuff. My favorite album is suffer. I get a lot of inspiration for the songs i write for my band from Bad Religion. They're definitely one of my favorite bands.
|
That song is off ther album, The Process Of Belief.
sorry, i was reading and everybody was saying their favorite album, and i read too quickly and thought that's what you said. you know, cause they don't have an album named sorrow, of course. |
omfg its Cheeser!
|
omfg its Cheeser!
Thanks for pointing that out, Captain Obvious. To elaborate on what I said earlier, they are one of my favourite bands and have greatly influenced me in taste in music. My favourite album by them is No Control, and my favourite song is probably Progress or You. |
Never said I didn't like them.
I was directing that comment more at the "sell out" comment you made.
Not really. They don't have any bearing on the music that I like. no.
is so awesome.
awesome should read "mediocre" |
Is Bad Religions old stuff their best? I have listened to their new stuff and I don't know how they got voted #3 on the best bands list. Please tell me their older stuff is better than their newer releases.
|
Nick, did you ban that guy because he argued with me, because he questioned Bad Religion's awesomeness, or both?
If so, well played. |
Nick, did you ban that guy because he argued with me, because he questioned Bad Religion's awesomeness, or both?
If so, well played.
Actually for his NOFX thread, but consider part of his ban for trying to lie about Bad Religion not ruleing. |
I'm glad we have a thread by Kasey every 5 months that is titled "Bad Religion" and then a continued statement reflecting good music.
Anyways, I really like them. I listened to The Process Of Belief today and it was as good as always. I think I usually listen to them once a day or every two days. Really frequently is all I'm trying to say. |
so wait, am i the only one who really loves no control?
|
The processe of belief that was the **** back when i was 13 or how evere old i was and yey me and chesser arent banned anymore ...
|
'The Empire Strikes First' is probably their best album writing wise, it is absolutley brilliant. The backing vocals are used very effectivly, i heard they had to get a whole load of people in to track them.
Great band. |
so wait, am i the only one who really loves no control?
nope, no control is fu'cking brilliant |
I'd have to go with Process of Belief as being their best. Kyoto Now is an amazing song and always gets stuck in my head.
|
I still can't get into them.
|
so wait, am i the only one who really loves no control?
What No !!!! its on of there best |
No Control used to be my favorite of theirs. Now it's either Suffer or Process Of Belief.
|
Bad Religion is awesome. great live too.
|
Process of Belief is my favorite, although No Control is great as well.
I like Against The Grain quite a bit too, although it definately isn't their best. |
You HAVE to give them some credit. At least. If it wasn't for them we wouldn't have Epitaph. Yeah, epitaph might suck **** now, but if itwasn't for them, modern punk wouldn't be where its at today.
Personally they are in the number one slot on my list. And have been for years. |
they are so great. when i first heard them i liked a couple songs but thats it. ive gotten alot more into them now and i love them. no control is such a good album.
|
Just today I found out that they have an album called The New America that I never remember reading or hearing about. I felt dumb.
|
I want to conquer the world is insanely good
I love bad religion, not just because they're music and lyrics are better than 90% of any other bands, not just because theyve been around forever, and still kick *** much *** as they did years ago, and not just because their live show is amazing. What i really like about them is how easy they are to make fun of. Wether it be the cheesy guitar solos (modern man), the album Into the Unknown, the whole Atlantic thing, the video for Struck a Nerve where Greg wears some of the weirdest clothes, having THREE guitar players, or the fact that Greg Graffin looks like Bruce Willis' long lost brother. |

Do I really only do it every 5 months? I'm going to have to kick it up a notch. |

ah bad religion... one of the few punk bands that i dont think sucks.
if only they would tour australia |
ah bad religion... one of the few punk bands that i dont think sucks.

Bad Religion are good. But nothing special. I have like 4 of their albums but none of them can keep me interested to listen to the end of the album!
|
They probably won't ever come Down Under, not sure if they have before but I doubt they'll come anytime soon.
No-one ever comes down under. Well no punk bands anyway, they all tend to stick to the USA or the UK. Sad times. |
