EmoSreamoPunk - Yeah.. I stayed in our car in the parking lot until I heard Godsmack was done

Dragon Prince - I don't have a clue if they're going to tour again, let alone Europe. That would be cool though, I don't think it is likely :(

poprocks&coke 08-06-2005 04:29 PM

w00t! I've just got back from a Green Day tribute band called Green Dayz (wow, what an oringinal name... haha) and I managed to nick the setlist and hug 'Billie Joe'. It was pretty kewl.

They played:
American Idiot
Longview
Welcome To Paradise
86
Chump
Geek Stink Breath
Brain Stew
Hitchin A Ride
2000 Lightyears Away
Nice Guys Finish Last
Warning
Blvd. Of Broken Dreams
St Jimmy
Holiday
Basket Case
She
When I Come Around
WMUWSE
Time Of Your Life
Minority

They weren't that bad, except the bass was out of tune most of the way through and he kept forgetting the words. Oh well, I had fun...

Untitled 08-06-2005 04:54 PM

That setlist is a million times better then the realy Green Days recent set.

Don't know if it comes through Indiana!!!!!!!!!!! I live in South Bend Indiana and I traveled down to Indianapolis this past summer on July 20th(right Spence) to go to Warped Tour and it was really good. It usually goes to Indy neways. Just check the dates man.

Gah! Hardly any shows come here, except for at the Emerson (which I'm not allowed to go to. ) and the Fishers YMCA.

I think I'm seeing the Nintendo Fusion Tour in September and Against Me! in November. And my friend said Sloppy Seconds is coming here soon, but I don't know when or where.

Edit: Lovedrug is reeeeeally good live.

B 08-27-2005 10:47 AM

Does anyone know if Underoath are any good live? I might be seeing them at a small local venue.

Mute Print 08-27-2005 10:49 AM

I've heard that from a lot of people, but I've never even heard their music. I'm kind of going to check them out more than anything, even though I haven't heard anything by them.

ZaaR 08-27-2005 11:48 AM

Where the hell do you get the money for all of these concerts? I'm lucky if I get to 3 major ones a year. All I've gone to this year is 4 local shows, and the Warped Tour. I have Ska is Dead, and Converge lined-up. That's it. I've seen Blink-182(twice), Sum41, MCR, The Used, Taking Back Sunday(twice), The Casualties, Alexisonfire(twice), Anti-Flag, Dillinger Esc. Plan, Big D and the Kids Table, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Transplants, Thrice, Lost City Angels, Closet Monster, Dead Letter Dept., Hostage Life, Brat Attack, Bombs Over Providance, Offspring, Billly Talent(twice), Rise Against, A7X, The Kinison, Future's Past, The Casualties, Greenday, Sugarcult, New Found Glory, and Jersey. Most of those bands were viewed at festivals.

Mute Print 08-27-2005 11:51 AM

Haha, most of the shows on my list cost like $8-$10 dollars per ticket. The ones that are really expensive, such as when I went to Green Day, get paid for by my parents. So that's pretty nice.

DepthsOfDreams555 08-27-2005 12:11 PM

Hey Brian, where is that Saves the Day, Senses Fail show at????
Could you possibly post dates of other shows.

Also, the only show I'm going to upcomming is Coheed and Cambria on October 1st in Chicago.

plaidbassbilly 09-01-2005 03:31 AM

Hey, when is Green Day coming back to Australia? (To sam182)

Ganondorf 09-01-2005 04:43 AM

The 'big' bands I've seen are Blink-182, Sugarcult (same tour) and My Chemical Romance.

Other bands I've seen are The Kinison, Million Dead, Skindred and Open Hand

MCR was probably better, because ti was at the London Astoria (which is awesome, really tight), and the fans were all going craxy (even if half of them were just there because the band are 'hot'). Open Hand were on before, they're really good, kinda QOTSA-ish, but all the idiot emo goths were like 'YOU SUCK' everytime there was a break between songs, which was really disrespectfull.

Blink-182/Sugarcult was the first concert I went to, it was at Wembley Arena, the hugest place ever. Sugarcult probably played betetr, hada tighter soudn and voerall better quality, but Blink-182 were just awesome because I like nearly all of their songs, and it was one of the last times they came to the UK before they split up.

I saw Million Dead before they became semi 'big' in the UK, so basically yeah, :) Skindred also played at a local place, the reggae/metal stuff they did was awesome, people went crazy for it!

mook 09-01-2005 06:35 AM

I've seen Blink 182, Taking Back Sunday, Alkaline Trio, Sugarcult, Pixies, The Kinison, Bad Religion, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, Rise Against, Alexisonfire, Anti-Flag, Finch, Motion City Soundtrack, My Chemical Romance, Iron Maiden, Foo Fighters, Bedouin Soundclash, QOTSA, All American Rejects, From Autumn To Ashes, Turbonegro, My Awesome Compilation, NOFX, and Million Dead. A lot of these were at Leeds.

I'm planning on seeing Alkaline Trio and Alexisonfire later this year.
