Then play Main Riff and I still have to work on it.

Ok Joe, this is all I have for now. I'm posting it because I want to know if it sounds good to you. I've only worked on it a little so it might be completely wrong.

You have to paste it on a *.txt to view it better.

sketchyjoe 07-13-2005 08:15 AM

Do you want guitar, bass or drums?

dislocated214 07-13-2005 09:25 AM

Actually our band wanted to cover some of them but our drummer can usually get anything down so.

1) Guitar
2) Bass
3) Drums

In order of preference.

echos 07-13-2005 09:49 AM

Then all that repeated and the chorus repeated a couple more times. I did that pretty fast and it might not be perfect but it sounds pretty good.

This can't be right because the 5-7 riff on the A is EEX DEE

and the 10-12 riff on the E is the exact same notes and in the song it definetly drops.

It sounded good to me, just an octave down. Try yourself, I said it was only an approach, I didn't really work hard on it. Thanks for the advise anyway, but if you can find the right notes, just post them.

Well it's not an octave down, but I don't know how to say it in english. It just sounds different.

It also seemed strange to me but I thought it maybe was downtuned and preffered to put it on E. I've just checked it again and you suck for making me lose my time because it's correct.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 07-13-2005 01:50 PM

A 10 on the E is the same as a 5 on the A is the same as open on the D. It sounds exactly the same when I move from the 5-7 riff to the 10-12 riff.
Just what I said.
Yeah sorry, I didn't catch that. I've edited accordingly.

Well, still, you've made me doubt. I invite you to correct me if you find the correct version. I'm 90% sure mine is correct though.
Well, still, you've made me doubt. I invite you to correct me if you find the correct version. I'm 90% sure mine is correct though.
Yeah I'm messing around with it but I can't find anything as close as you had.

albert_bass 07-13-2005 02:01 PM

Probably because it's correct, might be downtuned...but I don't think so because I haven't found any downtuned DK song. But if I mess around the fretboard I can't find anything alse that sounds good. unless you go to the A-577 thing which as you said is not possible because it clearly drops.
No one Knows - action (guitar)
I'll tab that on bass. It'll be pretty much the same on guitar except for the two little guitar solo things at the end.

Some of the best Rancid tabs you'll find. Almost all the Let's Go album is tabbed, and basically the tabs are pretty awesome there.
