add http://www.staggmusic.com/ to cymbals.
http://terradrummica.de is a site with some transcriptions of Vinnie and Weckl.
http://www.gersontricks.cjb.net/ has some neat tricks.
and you can also add http://virgildonati.com and http://mikemangini.com to the artists, especially as they are also somewhat educational, regarding their forums.
I'd also add http://terrybozzio.com/ and http://www.vinniecolaiuta.com/ cause it'd be kind of sad not to see them mentioned.

Damo 07-03-2005 06:36 AM

I stickied the site.

Pearldrumguy 07-07-2005 12:50 PM

i looked at stagg and it looks like they make everything. added all those sites. Can a moderator delete that post that a guy made in there.

Pilch 07-11-2005 08:44 PM

I tried looking up "Dixon" and found the link you had but www.sayhihi.com doesn't seem to resemble Dixon drums in anyway!!!
i use ufips aren't they great
They are awsome, and cost a lot of money.
drumskillz.com
You were the only one to reply in his beautiful thread. Now it looks out of place. I applaud your efforts too pearldrumguy, hope the beginners know where to look. :thumb: :)

dreamboat 02-02-2006 10:22 PM

To Pearldrumguy,

Would it be possible for you to add a link to the Drum and Bass Drumming Resources Website at http://www.dnbdrumming.4t.com/ ?

You may be aware that I have already posted two messages about this site on musicianforums (once on the general drumming page and once on the advanced page). I don't want to be seen as becoming a pest, however, I was not previously aware of the Drum Resource thread.

I would appreciate it if you could add a link, possibly in the Electronic Drums & Percussion section.

Thank you,

Dreamboat.

Snarz 03-27-2006 03:42 PM

I think this should be stickyed..And by the way excelent guide

Jezen 03-27-2006 03:44 PM

It is stickied...

Snarz 03-27-2006 03:58 PM

Oh sorry about that I guess I never saw it there with the sticky...

CasB 03-27-2006 04:17 PM

THat's because the sticky is just a few posts with all the links, so it won't get messed up. This is the thread to ask for new links etc.

rory_g 06-04-2006 03:23 AM

hey im a new user so just saw your resource thread...great job....i was just wondering if you had any info on the quality of stagg kits? I went to their site but obviously enough they wouldn't say if the quality of their products is good or bad! its just there is a used stagg kit for $600 near me (thats my price range anyway) so id just like a little background info on stagg before i looked into it. Any help would be much appreciated! thanks
