Setup looks awesome. That ride looks amazing.

HHX Crashes rule soooo hard. How do you like yours? What is the tone like and projection? Is it easy to play at softer volumes? I am thinking about getting an 18" and 20" HHX Stage crashes.

Thank youuuuu.
 HHX Stages are one of the hardest ruling cymbals EVER CREATED. They definately have a warm tone, but it doesn't blend as much as you'd think, it still has some bite to it which I love. Very versitile cymbal as well, you could for sure play these for soft rock, or wailing rock, or jazz. They have a response I found, similar to AAX, but not quite as quick. I'd call it a mix in response between AAX and AA, with a darker, warmer tone that still has bite and cut and you're still able to really wail on it fierce to get that full blast of sound. I'm curently looking for a partner for it, I was thinking an 18" HHX-treme. :smoke: |
Perhaps a Saturation?

I love you Plan B. You are my new mx best friend, hahaha. I have a 17" HHXplosion crash. You might want to try that out and i've played a special ordered 21" HHX-treme crash. It was an amazing crash. I love it's dirty sounding bite.
