Freak Kitchen...

They are an experimental rock band from Sweden. Their singer/guitarist is INSANE, and very original. The lyrics are usually pretty comedic as well...

For a taste, download the song "Propoganda Pie"...

Devil Inferno 02-03-2005 05:05 AM

at fast fingers :

Elvenking
Agalloch (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check these guys out)
Bal-Sagoth
Furia
Green Carnation
Iniquity

i've heard those before. bal-sagoth is really underated, even though they are cheesy (on par or better than rhapsody), they're pretty good.

agalloch is like opeth, yes please check them out.
Iniquity has crazy vocals, they're probrably popularized by ebaumworld's death metal karaoke.

i've also heard ETOS, i have most of their albums on my comp right now. they make CoF look like the teletubies.

also

Delian League (prog)
Descent Into Madness (?) (can be found on soundclick)
Illnath (melo black)
Crimson Moonlight (black metal)
Dead Elizabeth (black/death)
Borknagar (don't see them being mentioned. power/black metal)
Dark Lunacy (symphonic death)
Heavenly (power metal)
Ephel Duath (jazz metal)
Falconer (folk, power metal)

Lars_ironcobra_doublepedal 02-03-2005 05:12 AM
