Alexi Laiho from Children of Bodom.
Indeed. Maynard James Keenan Zakk Wylde JIM MORRISON |
Cobain actually is a great front man maybe he wasn't the greatest lyricist or the best guitar player but he is remembered and talked about up untill this day and he really is what made Nirvana so incredibly popular(love or hate you got to admit they're popular).
|
I'll do a top five. it's so hard to pick just one.
Alexi Laiho (Children of Bodom) Tomas Lindberg (At the Gates) Mikael Stanne (Dark Tranquillity) Dave Mustaine (Megadeth) Mikke Akerfelt (Opeth)
Dude those are great bands but you can't really say they have GREAT frontmen theres a difference between how much you like them and how good they actually are. :) |
I am amazed that nobody has mentioned Johnny Rotten?
Oh yes. and also David Lee Roth Zack(Ratm) Axl Kurt Cobain Jimi Hendrix Jim Morrison |
i would say kurt.
|

IGGY POP!!! except when he got his **** out that i was not too impressed with funnily enough.
And jello biafra for being extremely outspoken towards hostile crowds and still not managing to get killed or anything |
Many people bicker, but who was the greatest frontman of all time?
It's been puzzlin man for generations, wel, at least 2. There has been many great frontmen, such as the legendary Robert Plant, or the ever charismatic Freddie Mercury, but who was the best? I will leave you with that thought. Post freely and enjoy
 Those are about what I would have chosen..They both had interesting tastes in "partners" Plant was into like..12 year olds and Mercury was gay :smash: Maynard James Keenan is also very good in both his bands, APC and Tool. |
Anthony Kedis
Les Claypool Jack Black People who can make me laugh whilst rocking out. |
Anthony Kedis
Les Claypool Jack Black People who can make me laugh whilst rocking out.
I agree with that partially...... CLAYPOOL is freakin awesome |
For me its Tom Araya, the amount of respect the crowd gives him is awesome and he is very charming.
|

|
Rivers Cuomo (Weezer)
Kurt Cobain (Nirvana) Anthony Kiedis (RHCP) Mick Jagger (Rolling Stones) Robert Plant (Led Zepplin) |

Alice Cooper.

|
Axl Rose is a legend but I wouldn't say he was the greatest because, well, he stopped turnin up! I mean can u imagine like david lee roth or freddie mercury doin that? I mean Axl rose was a master, with his singin style and his lizard like movements, he was a god, but he wasn't a good band member, bein so 'I am the singer so I tell you wot to do.' although he was a legend he was a **** band member which is a shame
Keep postin guys
i totaly agree |
