mad world.
i think it's by someone Andrews but i can't be sure. it's the theme in donnie darko.
Gary Jules did the piano version, I forget who did the original. But I much prefer the Gary Jules version. |
AHHAAHAHAHHAAH
Your friends are so decomposing right now!!! Just think about that! Anyway, A perfect circle - The nurse who loved me.
Whoa... you... you are... whoa... that one... Now I know who I'm going to hell with. See ya there :chug: Edit: A song that makes me depressed is any Metallica song. It's so depressing to see a band suck that much but they are still loved by millions of idiots. Brings a tear to my eye. |
Gary Jules did the piano version, I forget who did the original.
But I much prefer the Gary Jules version.
Tears For Fears did the original. But Gary Jules' version is better. |
"Since I´ve been loving you" by Led Zeppelin and "Monuments and Melodies" by Incubus are pretty depressive songs, although they´re very beautiful at the same time. The solos are pretty **** cool too, in my opinion.
Explain please
It's horrible, it's got loads of footage from war, and ends on this shot of a guy with no limbs, no voice, no sight, no hearing with this mask over his face because of burns. You can just faintly hear his thoughts which are 'S.O.S....S.O.S' |
Adema - Giving in
Alice in Chains - Dirt Chevelle - Bend the Bracket Deftones - Change (in the house of flies) Metallica - One Nirvana - Heartshaped box Our Lady Peace - 4am Silverchair - Ana's Song Tool - Sober |

november rain by guns and roses
a lot of pink floyd almost everything by A.F.I |
i would have to say "Wake me up when september ends" by greenday...its off of American Idiot...also "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams"
but i agree with who ever said November Rain by GNR |
I'm glad tears for fears got in there... If they're not the worlds most depressing band, they're a close second (to My Dying Bride, also said)
|
where can i find this metallica film clip
|
Yea i totally agree with Staind being very depressing. I also agree with the fact that I really get depressed if I can relate to the song. Smashing Pumpkins offer a lyric for every situation it seems like, so relating to them is no problem.
|
Agalloch- The Misshapen Steed

Still Day Beneath The Sun is good too. =) |
from despair to where-the manic street preachers
everything means nothing to me-elliott smith... and joy division´s songs, are pretti depresing |
Even though APC sound good, I can't listen to them cause they're just, well depressing to me. Same with Tool, Creed's first album "My Own Prison", Metallica, and punk music (depressing because it's glorified pop music).
|
Tool-sober for me.
|
I am suprised nobody mention "Castles Made of Sand" by Jimmy Hendrix. It is about this three people who led very sad lives. Both the lyrics and the guitar is very depressing.
|
Easy, anything by the father of depressing, Peter Hammill. People You Were Going To from Nadir's Big Chance album particularly comes to mind.
|
Just dragged out the album to listen to it again, I think Shingle is even more depressing, closely followed by Airport on the same album. Oh Well... off to slash my wrist now. :(
|
Nirvana - lithium
The beatles- let it be ( i know i know) Stone sour- bother Loreena mckennit- dantes prayer ( not rock but if you just want to end it all good song lol) Jumper- cant remember band atm Imaginary- evanescence |
Radiohead - Street Spirit has to be one of the saddest sounding songs around. Gets to me everytime.
|
The first one for me was Eminem - Stan
Then things like Blink 182 - Adams Song And Pearl Jam - Black One which I used as a kind of 'anti-depressant' was Good Charlotte - Hold On (You ppls are probably saying 'Its no wonder you were depressed, listening to all that rotten music!) |
"Black" by Pearl Jam
1234567890 and "Bleed" by Col |
