Here is a video of flea demonstrating his slap skills.
I have that video, there's another place where he goes total bananas after saying: "So, when I do this [crazy *** thing for about a minute or so], I something bla bla..." |
Mardy?! Thought you were like dead

Yoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyo!
Nah man, I just do other stuff and easily forget about this site. Whats up? |
How does Mr. Sheehan do those weird-arse harmonics, the one where he does that weird hand movement afterwards?? Does he just bend it?
|
i LOVE flea. I know he's not the best. But i do love him
the dude is crazy, but he seems very cocky. but what the hell, when your that good you can brag a little.
but, after a while double thumping/ muting and all that **** just sounds like noise
i defintely agree with ur sounds like noise comment. it's nice for a minute, but u gotta break it up a bit, play with some feeling, i like to slap a bit, but i'd much rather listen to and come up with a pretty melodic bassline. that's what i dig. |
I heard someone talk about slap bass, Larry Graham is one of the best at slap bass in my eyes. I know some cool lessons on slapping and popping for anyone who wishes to know.
