This thread makes me feel old.

This is a sad, nostalgic thread. I used to come around here a lot but the last time was like a year ago.

I still play bass sometimes but can't say I'm getting any better at it. Now I spend more time taking photos, which is my new hobby and doesn't hurt my ears as much (suffering from tinnitus now)

And why not....I should make my 5000th post in here.

Tinnitus? That sucks. Was it the bass playing that caused it, or just a very loud non-bass environment (like working on jet engines without hearing protection)?

No idea....I do think it was playing too much with loud bands but I especially blame my ipod. Cranking up RHCP every morning while I jogged can't be good.

i used to really be into this forum, its a shame that lots of people dipped. It was definitely a great resource for me when i was starting to learn. Nowadays i do more experimental hip hop/krautrock production...

Hey guys, good to see so many familiar faces Bass guy, Ben Jammin, Dunc, Funk Metal Bass,, Fat bandit, Almighty pancake, lowsound of bass (would love to chat about the canadian music scene got a killer band going!) nisakks, JoeDaddio(sup playa), myung, bassvirtuoso, :amaze:. I miss Gav although he was banning me a lot in the latter days. It was very busy, with real active mods! Those bass comps were very fun, also tons of IM jamming. Getting drunk with the late night and aussie crew in the first casuals. People hacking mx and taking it down. How's jeremy is he doing well? errry day
