Oh yeah, Salt The Wound, KOTA, and GOV in September and Zombifying Venom in October.

Kickflip_Burrito 08-17-2009 03:25 AM
September has Boredoms, Streetlight Manifesto, Rodrigo Y Gabriela and Mono again. October has Sufjan Stevens and Infected Mushroom, and there's probably a hella lot more to come.
Saw em live a couple years ago, really good, they do some good crowd interaction too where Rodrigo gets different parts of the audience to clap different beats whilst they play certain songs.
However, after an hr or so of playing, it does start to get quite repetitive but yknow, each to their own.

Haven't been to many gigs this year, saw Metallica at the O2 Arena in March, that was amazingly good, Volbeat like 10 days later and tht too was awesome and then recently saw Bad Brains which was fun.

Might see Motorhead later in the year but I don't know whether its worth the cash.... £35/$57

So, so, so, so, so jealous. I would kill to see FNM. We need a North American tour, badly!

Next show I'm going to is Nine Inch Nails in NYC next week.

Despite what people say, they're really good live.
Glad I went when they were in Holland, because I don't think they'll be coming back anytime soon.

xMalcolmXx 08-18-2009 12:29 PM

publicastration 08-18-2009 12:41 PM

some mediocre stuff but some great stuff as well

Pulling Teeth, Ceremony, The Carrier, Coke Bust, Bracewar, Know The Score, Shipwreck A.D., Have Heart were all spectacular.

xMalcolmXx 08-18-2009 12:43 PM

pulling teeth, ceremony, coke bust, bracewar, shipwreck a.d. and have heart at the same show

sounds decent, i guess.

publicastration 08-18-2009 12:58 PM

same fest, different nights.

Deth 08-18-2009 01:05 PM

Judas Priest was awesome last night. They filmed the show to release with the reissue of British Steel so looking forward to picking it up. Halford had so many more gratuitious screams than when I saw them 4 years ago, but that might be due to most of the set being more accommodating to his range now.

For those who care (like, pate and that's about it) they played

All of British Steel
The Ripper (yesssssss)
Prophecy
Hell Patrol (yessssssssssssss)
Victim of Changes

Freewheel Burning
Diamonds and Rust
You Got Another Thing Comin'

Stormrider 08-18-2009 01:11 PM

I only have Stained Class and I haven't listened to the entire thing yet. I'll get Screaming For Vengeance or something once I get a new harddrive.

Anyway, I'm seeing Blasphemy in October.

Deth 08-18-2009 01:15 PM

get Painkiller obv

pate 08-18-2009 01:23 PM

Get Sad Wings before Painkiller.

I don't remember if they did The Ripper the first time I saw them. I haven't seen them to Freewheel Burning, or any of British Steel other than the 'hits'.

xMalcolmXx 08-18-2009 09:17 PM

i'd like to see blacklisted. i'm used to not be so fond of bane, but i've been listening to them more and more lately

They played most of these songs when I saw 'em. Except for Hell Patrol, which would've ruled.

Did they finish every single song in a sort of epic drumsolo/painkiller way?
They did when I saw them. At first it was cool, but when they finish every song like that, it gets a little old.
