im going back and listening to ariadne for the first time in so long, this band is dooooooope, songs on the myspace don't do them justice, their 2nd demo is awesome

iamrockzorz 04-29-2009 04:00 PM
uh that was my intention. to get a list of bands I could search for. I mean I know you are a stupid c'unt and all that, but seriously. stfu. no one cares.
You know, I always felt kind of bad for making fun of you because you get so much **** already, but since you think I'm a stupid c'unt, let's be honest. You create thread after thread where the same people recite the same responses, either seriously or out of desperation to see you're discussions wiped clean from the internet. You get lists of bands that you'll download music by, listen through once or twice, and grasp only the most basic understanding of the bands' musical ventures. But it doesn't matter, because in the end your music library will sky rocket and your tight-jean/swooshed-hair points will jump up a few notches.

This isn't hearsay, this can be proven. Look at your posts about music on your cute little blog where you discuss the ignorant communistic idea that music falls under a freedom of information clause for the world's governments. Your thoughts on music (on your blog) read like a conversation that you're having that you haven't quite been able to understand yet. "This sounds like Envy... but a little more French, you know... kind of like this... but it's really like this," and you'll go on to equate things to other things because you have no other possible comprehensive ability to understand what the music actually sounds like.

and "(insert band name here) doesn't have vocals, but that doesn't mean they have no voice"... let's be honest, you don't understand how to describe music. Your prose reeks of a naivety towards punk (and it's many sub-genres) that you're unwilling to accept.

Learn what you have. Further than knowledge by your own research (the internet is a huge place), and then from their you can find your obscuremo.

Jesus Christ, you seem like an okay kid. But shut the f'uck up every once and a while. You've come a far way from the pestering indietrash, but now it just feels like you're looking for acceptance simply by knowing all that there is to know.

RetiredAt21 04-29-2009 04:05 PM

This is a dumb thread.
This is a dumb thread.
Yup.

RetiredAt21 04-29-2009 04:07 PM

I don't even get the point of it.

IgniteYourAvail 04-29-2009 04:11 PM

Me either, man.

RetiredAt21 04-29-2009 04:12 PM

Just another pointless indietrash thread, I guess.

IgniteYourAvail 04-29-2009 04:20 PM

Let's turn this thread into how much Dropdead rules.

Dropdead rules.

RetiredAt21 04-29-2009 04:22 PM

Dropdead definitely does ****ing rule. Split with Unholy Grave destroys.

SnackaryBinx 04-29-2009 04:25 PM

saw Cedar of Lebanon already dropped.

Ettil Vrye
Arroyo Seco
Quest for Quintana Roo
An Embrace of Angels
Kassiopeia
Nothing Left to Grasp
Tipping Canoe
Roosevelt's Inauguration Parade
Constantine Sankathi
Agna Moraine's Autobiography
Bombs Lullabye

YADA YADA YADA

or alright no one likes this kid but I'm too lazy to edit this and I feel like this post flaunts my douchebaggery taste.

team_racket 04-29-2009 04:39 PM

I haven't listened to Tipping Canoe in a while. Good band. Dropdead is also great, it just sucks that it is also a s'hitty UK clothing label run by the singer of BMTH.

Iluvatar 04-29-2009 05:10 PM

anyone else heard of circle takes the square they are up and coming

whiteminority 04-29-2009 05:33 PM

Tipping Canoe is ****ing awesome, I haven't listened to them in a bit.

Any MassHoles hook us up with some local western mass ****? They seem to always have the best stuff.

And by that I mean Orchid is from Western Mass.

Matt? 04-29-2009 06:22 PM

five-o is a name i never really hear
or bubblejug...

here's my opinion though christsimpson: most of these bands aren't that great. usually the production is so shitty and like dated. i was into it a lot but it gets old quick. stick to the big guns...

Matt? 04-29-2009 06:31 PM

september... bev. clone

driftwood, grain

i'm only listing old obscure **** cause nobody ever talks about it whereas new obscure **** you might as well go to a show and you'll see something "obscure"

whiteminority 04-29-2009 07:09 PM

driftwood... i wanna say they did a split with jonah?

cbmartinez 04-29-2009 09:10 PM

rockets and blue lights
the sea, the sea

man all the names of these shitty bands are coming back to me

whiteminority 04-29-2009 09:23 PM

hold on now, rockets and blue lights was not shitty.

also paging 2005

christsimpson 04-30-2009 02:13 AM
endless rant on how much I suck
STFU. no one even remotely cares. I am still just looking for a list of good s'hit that deserves to be heard. also Rockets and Blue Lights are in no way poopty.

oh and hey are I thought Tipping Canoe was huge, but according to their 400 last.fm listeners I was wrong. heh. awesome band anyway. and so are all their "similar artists" on last.fm (Ordination of Aaron, Republic of Freedom Fighters and so on).

hismajestythepope 04-30-2009 03:30 AM

christsimpson 04-30-2009 03:33 AM

has anyone heard 100 Watt Halo? they have like ten listeners on last.fm so I don't know how pop they are. but they do rule. a bit like Drive Like Jehu or something... and Aaron Montaigne sings on one of their songs! instant win.

SnackaryBinx 04-30-2009 05:54 AM

will you stop relating everything to how many last.fm listeners they have jesus christ.

Matt? 04-30-2009 08:02 AM

RetiredAt21 04-30-2009 11:13 AM
