One of my favorite bands.

They're okay, they seem like a band that's likely to grow on me though.

I saw them live last year, they were quite stellar. can't go wrong with "Los Angeles, I'm Yours"

The Infanta.

I really dig this band. Their polka-esque rhythm is really refreshing.

Favorite song: The Mariner's Revenge.

I love Colin Melloy's voice. Especially on Infanta and July!July!

the decemberists are one of the most unique and interesting bands in modern indie rock. There's a nice Meloy solo show on the NPR website somewhere.

fantastic live band. ive seen them twice. a tad disappointed that the show was so similar to the last but great just the same. they played peter and the wolf during intermission as well. how ****ing awesome.

California One/Youth and Beauty Brigade is just so incredible, especially since he throws in a random cover tease during the segue.

I havent heard them yet. But its an awesome name and Ive heard good things. Ill get some on Soulseek.

I've got Picaresque. I think it's great, especially Of Angels And Angles.

i saw the decemberists in boston last fall, amazing show

i'm a fan, altho the first time i heard em i was sorta turned off by how much they sounded like nmh. i've grown to love em.
