I love Sikth too but I don't think many people here know them or like them. Oh well their loss. I love the opening track "Scent Of The Obscene"

Followinbg along the topic a poet I've been studying a lot lately is the Australian poet Gwen Harwood. Very good stuff. Here's a link to Barn Owl, one of her fantastic pieces but not her best. http://members.iinet.net.au/~rabbit/barnowl.htm

o me 2

I started actually writing my thesis so I have been not so much in the lyric thing but I for sure will try to do this challenge

p.s. I wrote a new song called ascent so people should go listen to it and tell me that it's lame or something
Following along the topic a poet I've been studying a lot lately is the Australian poet Gwen Harwood.
Are you doing your HSC by any chance??? I had to do her for Advanced English way back in 2001... I thought "In The Park" was great. Subtle simplicity implies a great deal sometimes. I like the one about the kid with Oedipus complex aswell... Can't remember what it is called. Gwen Harwood is great tho... But Sikth is better!!

Edit: This looks like one of those challenges where Dfelon is going to win outright but not vote??? I guess my point is... Hurry the f.ck up and get on with it... I'm craving a word!!!!!! Give me gimme gimme.. fill me fill me,hunger and addiction returning....!!!! *screams like a life-long addict deprived for a day* :amaze:

On The Playlist Today:

Nah man I did yr 12 last year and studied her work in literature class. Only studied a couple of her poems but yeh "In The park" is awesome and I like "Littoral". I also read "Ragtime" recently if anyone knows that novel. Fantastic stuff.

Iron Maiden is always worth listening to...and George Jones is good for country. try the A$$hole song and the corvette song for a laugh. what kind of music is Premiata Forneria Marconi?

ATC 02-16-2006 10:35 PM

70s prog rock. I'm not a huge fan of them but they have their moments.
