Its wierd, i like barely any hardcore, but most post-hardcore is easy for me to get into and like. Glassjaw, Thursday, and At The Drive-In are some of my favorite bands, and im trying to find stuff from quicksand and texas is the reason in the record stores around here.

Hey, it says that they're post-hardcore, but I listened to some of those bands you guys listed, and they don't sound like them. I think they sound kind of similar, but not close enough to be considered same genre. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know. I just want to hear what you guys have to say. |

I find this to be true. But to answer his question: As said before, post-hardcore is hardcore with the bands own personal style attached , so you're going to get alot of bands that sound different. |
Post hardcore for the most part.

It doesn't make sense that Glassjaw, Fugazi and Quicksand can all be called post-hardcore. THE SYSTEM IS BREAKING DOWN.

I prefer post-hardcore.
