Why not? I have plenty of albums which I couldn't bear to see a note changed on. That's perfection for me.
This, sir, is a fine point.

I don't think giving an album 10/10 implies perfection. Just one that in itself has no real flaws. For me it would have to be one I can play all the way through without wanting to skip, so:

Green Day: Nimrod
Fall Out Boy: Take This To Your Grave
Starting Line: Say It Like You Mean It
Jimmy Eat World: Futures
Thrice: The Illusion Of Safety

And I think that's it.

Permanent Solution 10-15-2005 09:47 PM

If we're counting Thrice, add Identity Crisis and TAITA to my list.

I don't know if I'd give any pop-punk album a 10/10 award. Adicts- Songs of Praise and Green DAy- Dookie would be the closest.

Ace 10-16-2005 10:11 AM

I would have to say:
C&C: Good Apollo etc...
Green Day: Dookie
Brand New: Deja Entendu
From First to Last: Dear Diary, etc...

theclash91 10-16-2005 12:09 PM

alkaline trio- goddammit

Tjebby 10-16-2005 12:24 PM

I don't think i listen to any albums that are 10's. For instance, SILYMI has about 10 awesome songs. I just don't really dig the other 3. So I'm not gonna give it a ten, when it deserves to be a nine. But that would be one of the best pop-punk albums out there.

Ducky_72 10-16-2005 12:32 PM

Offspring: Americana
Green Day: Dookie
Box Car Racer: S/T

Surtr 10-16-2005 01:13 PM

***** I forgot The Adicts. That album is a perfect 10 too. Not Dookie imo.

chips88 10-16-2005 02:30 PM

I can't believe no one has mentioned this album, since it owns just about every one mentioned so far.

Save the Day - Through Being Cool

Descendents - Milo Goes To College
