The Dollet landing theme is the best Final Fantasy song ever.

I'm making a mix to get my friend into some indie stuff. See my thread on it if you'd like to help. I will post the finished product in here.

Robert Crumb 10-13-2005 11:45 PM

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention: I dunno if anyone else does this but the most full-proof way to make a great mix is to use tracks as they would come sequentially on their respective albums.

Ex:

1. Richard Hell and the Voidoids - Love Comes in Spurts
2. Pavement - Trigger Cut/Wounded Cut At :17
3. Harry Nilsson - Early In the Morning
4. Sam Cooke - Mean Old World
etc...

Alter formula as necessary. Guaranteed results.

Yep, that's it. Is that the top 10 favorite songs of the moment or whatever thread?

Next six songs to the four I put up, the shift from punk stuffs to hip hop is almost seamless thanks to the innate funkiness of "#1 Hit Song". Don't believe me? Try out the songs for yerself...

This was a mix I made for a good friend's 16th birthday...Hence the theme "Drive."

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v691/dressedtokillyou/drivecopy.jpg

It's rather random...But it took a LOT of work.

Ergh, you definitely could NOT read that.

Patti Smith

Cat Power (i love her, we will be married soon)
Diana Krall
Joni Mitchell

Little Man being Erased 11-21-2005 12:00 AM

Weren't you also gonna marry that chick from The Kills?

Nah, I just wanna pash.

Chan Marshall is pure sex. Her music is better than PJ Harveys (which makes her pretty damm cool) and she's so cute. I want to find a chick like her man, that'd just be tits.
