Fake Plastic Trees.
I'm partial to Karma Police.
I actually voted for Knives Out. It's just brilliant, cool video too. I Know this is a little bit off topic but I havent seen people talking about Amnesiac. Is it an album worth buying? (I have purchased TB and OKC).
I dont like to look at Radiohead as a singles band, because their albums are put together so good as a whole. But I voted There There, they only get better which is the best thing about them.
I said Karma Police. That's my favorite Radiohead tune.
Their last album does have a lot of crap in it.
/is a radiohead fan |
I choose "Paranoid Android".
wait... Anyway, as much as I love songs like "Just" and "Karma Police", I find that both "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" and "Pyramid Song" are eerily perfect in construction, and I'm sad that neither of them got released in the states (to my knowledge). However, I think "Pyramid Song" is a little better. It has a similar effect on me as "How to Disappear Completely", which is Radiohead's greatest achievement, as well as one of the greatest artistic achievements of recent years... while it may not be quite as good as HTDC, it is still a remarkable song, so I vote "Pyramid Song".
I think you're very similar to me as far as your reasons for liking Radiohead. I ended up swaying the way of Street Spirit though. It was a close one, for sure. |
Def Karma Police, then Fake Plastic Trees
my favorite is CREEP
Uhhh paranoid android kills all of those songs. So does Everything In It's Right Place.
 |
Yeah, Paranoid Android.
But Just is my favourite of those. |
I just love all the Radiohead singles :D
Me too :D !!! I voted Street Spirt but if Paranoid Android was an option I would vote for that one. Oh, would Pop is Dead count as a single they made a video for that song. |
i have the bends and i fkn love it to bits, and i didnt actually realise radiohead had released it as a singel ,but i love it so much, and then i voted for it, right now.
creep sounds clean... he sounds like Matthew Bellamy...

I've always thought that. Also, does anyone bar me like HTTT most out of all the Radiohead albums? |
Only 2+2=5, Sit Down. Stand Up, Backdrifts, Myxomatosis, There There and The Gloaming stood out for me on HTTT.
The rest didn't. At all. |
Karma Police is my favourite radiohead song.
street spirit. no questions asked

Was there any singles off of Kid A?
Paranoid Android/Street Spirit/Nice Dream |
Radiohead never released any singles off Kid A
Pyramid Song, though those are all great.
I voted Creep.

Truth. Though they did perform "Idioteque" and "The National Anthem" on Saturday Night Live back in 2000, both of which were amazing (and slightly shortened) performances. |
Fake plastic trees imo. Best song on the bends anyway.
I think we need more Radiohead threads in here.
I can't really choose. All Radiohead songs bring me such good joy.
it would have been paranoid android but from the list it had to be karma police.
No Surprises is one of Radiohead's weakest songs, and i really dislike Just. From that list, I'd have to say Street Spirit. Only that and the Pyramid Song are standout tracks from there. Dam'n singles.
Street Spirit is just great.
