The hell? I cant think of many hardcore bands half as ground breaking or creative as MLIW.

I just never really got into the LP. I used to LOVE Vancouver Gold, but I got bored with it and haven't listened to it in forever.

Unbroken, Suicide file,sure they have influences but there is NOTHING like Witness around, in any genre.

I can't get into Witness, so I'll have to stay out of that.

You can say that about a lot of records that aren't groundbreaking or anything.

Adora.... I believe a friend of mine had his belt sign by Adora's singer. Either it was them or someother hardcore or metalcore band beginning with an A.

Sometimes people legitimately love a band, while other people don't get it, or it just isn't their thing. Get over yourself.

MLIW is so whored here on this board and they don't deserve it, I don't mind seeing a band like GIA getting whored, I just don't think MLIW do anything revolutionary or groundbreaking.



And BTW people really need to piss off about me liking the Hoods, yeah I like them A LOT, but I like a lot of other bands too Jesus.

I don't care how hyped MLIW are on here, they're one of my favorite bands. How loved or hated they are around here should have no bearing on how I feel about the band. I'm not going to pretend to like them any less because they're the cool thing. I'm sorry you feel left out, but a lot of people really like them. They're a great band. You don't have to like it, but accept it.

To me, MLIW encompass everything I look for in a hardcore band. Great songwriting, creativity, passion, meaning, and most importantly, a connection. I can listen to MLMW every day and never have it feel cheapened or played out.

So what your saying is MLIW aren't cool anymore. Darn, I went to all the trouble of pretending to like them too.

Blacklisted are by far 'cooler' than MLIW.
