youre probably not strecthing before using those muscles and then you over work them. Because with the trumpet and then the sticks, if use a lot of your fingers, those muscles are getting a real good work out, so first rest it, then strecth before you get back to it.

its from a lack of glucose in your muscles in your arm just play threw it eventually it will take your body longer and lnger ti feel it.

pain in forearm
Hi,
I know this comes late but I was wondering what that pain in your upper forearm was and how you treated it. I'm not a musician but when I typed in forearm pain in the search this website came up. I have pain in my upper forearm which seems to hurt when I push on it. It also seems to hurt more in the morning when I wake up. If I put my arm straight out in front of me with my palm facing down, it's the upper outer part of my forearm. I work on crafts several hours everyday and I think maybe somehow this pain is a result of it. Let me know if what you had was similar. Thanks. |
