I've seen them countless times here and there since I live in South Wales. They have a huge following around here, but they're not my thing.
hey , what part of south wales you from ?

Electric Ocean 06-10-2005 11:00 AM

He's from Caerphilly if I remember rightly and I'm from Merthyr encase you wanted to know.

JACK! 06-10-2005 02:04 PM

Yup, Caerphilly.

~All my life~ 06-10-2005 02:56 PM

I haven't heard any songs off the album except for Streetcar so far, but this song sounds ALOT more pop-punk compared to alot of the songs from their previous work. For example, This years most open heartbreak, which is very emo/hardcore.

But still I look forward to getting the album and I'm not that bothered if they sound more pop-punk.

Katana 06-10-2005 06:54 PM

I like Funeral for a Friend.
EPs > Casually Dressed... > Hours
True all the way

Hours is really crap imo, theyve pretty much killed all emo/hardcore they had left in them and gone down the pop punk route. I'm so dissapointed I wish I'd never spent my money on this :'( They dont' scream at all and they just sound like they're trying too hard to impress :@

All The Rage is pretty good though.

k1ckthecat 06-13-2005 05:25 PM

the drummer doesn't scream anymore? maybe I won't be looking forward to tuesday.....

srt-4 06-13-2005 09:59 PM

i only liked their stuff before casually dressed

DepthsOfDreams555 06-13-2005 10:59 PM

i kinda like hours but i liked Casually Dressed... a lot and it isnt close to that

StrivingForChange 06-14-2005 07:33 AM

I listened to this band a long time ago. They are decent.

red_zeppelin 06-14-2005 07:38 AM

i got 'casually...' but not yet Hours. is it good. is it a big strp on from their debut. i so ant to see them live. would be amazing.

gimp fest 06-14-2005 10:36 AM

i got hours on saturday (2 whole days before release  ) i am enjoying listening to it but casually dressed is a better album as hours is far too pop punk

SmashingPumpkin 06-14-2005 08:39 PM

I haven't picked up the new CD yet. I have Casually Dressed...and I love it.

k1ckthecat 06-14-2005 11:08 PM

I just got their new cd today. nowhere near hardcore or emo anymore, no screaming, just pop-punk/alternative. it's a shame. especially the "Atlantic Records" part of it.

k1ckthecat 01-22-2006 12:44 PM

why would you bump this thread from june?

if it was a good band i'd understand but....

cuts_like_drugs 01-22-2006 03:39 PM

haha yea, I was thinking why people were talking about release dates. FFAF do indeed suck. So bloody bland.

FungusAmngus870 01-22-2006 09:20 PM

I find them alright, I cant really get into them.I did see them over the summer and I will admit it was pretty good, much better live.

it was a mistake in the craziness of last night. new threads, old threads bumped, deleted threads, banned users. oh the confusion. now lets just let it die like it should.
