TMA 02-10-2005 09:40 PM

Another thing to pay attention do, is not misspelling words on purpose.

i am extremely whitty...well no...more of an a**...

PeenkPhloide 02-10-2005 09:51 PM

I noticed...the ppl in the pop-punk forums are much friendlier than those in the official pink floyd thread...

TMA 02-10-2005 09:56 PM

Well, not if you keep posting in that style. You know, the one right after the other kind of thing. It gets kind of annoying, and that isn't going to get you very far here. May even get you booted, so...
Just some advice.

PeenkPhloide 02-11-2005 10:31 AM

thanks. Well, when I was on here like a year back...I begged to get booted. They were too scared to do it. They love me. I can't be booted. I am hardcore. 80's style.

casualties_army 02-11-2005 11:07 AM

my god the man sounds like he got kicked in the nuts how can u listen to it

I am a revenant 02-11-2005 11:36 AM

I like this band a lot, though i don't really think of them as pop-punk. There are some definite metal inluences there.

Sep 02-11-2005 01:20 PM

Yes, I think they have equal metal and pop-punk influences. I think they're kind of indie as well? I wouldn't know what else to call them.

Four different posts in a row...I didn't think it could be done.

dislocated214 02-11-2005 02:09 PM

I love the story they write. Coheed, Cambria, Chase, Claduio, Josephine, Al, Newo. My favorite pop-punkish/progressive rockish/emoish band. I saw them in October, cool show. Needs a better bassist though.

DJ Ducksauce 02-11-2005 06:43 PM

Yeah, the bass has no cool lines and is really hard to hear

cobert 02-11-2005 09:21 PM

Oh ho, my friends, 4 posts IS possible.

The bass isnt very original, yet not msny bands have truly amazing bass.

still, though, co n ca have some interesting bass fills at the end of a section to a song.

TMA 02-12-2005 01:23 AM

Well, I was looking at the bass for Neverender, and I had no idea it was that much... harder (?) than I thought it was. I thought it was really simplictic, but it isn't.

Anyways... I got into an argument with some guy at the Epitaph Tour a few hours ago. He told me he didn't like Co&Ca because of Claudio's voice.
I'm sick of hearing that. Bands aren't about the singer's voice, they are about the MUSIC and the EXPRESSION. If you don't like the voice, that's cool, but don't go judging a whole band by the singer's voice.

cobert 02-12-2005 02:13 PM

Yeah, but the voice of a singer is what stands out the most when listening (usually).

And im getting tired of hearing that too. His voice only sounds high pitched the first few times you hear them.

OMFG, the new cd has the longest title ive ever heard:

My dearest aploolo, goodbye, im burning star: 4

hey, you're not cory! 02-13-2005 06:36 PM

actually, its called Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness

DJ Ducksauce 02-13-2005 09:14 PM

I just figured out that they are numbering their CDs. I feel dumb.

i'm always right, shut up :D

nitzguy 02-16-2005 02:34 PM

i really don't like this band. the songs are pretty long and i just get bored with it. the guitars are the only good part

At least you didnt say "the singer sounds gay".

One thing that i just noticed, and i dont know why it took me so long....the bass in most of sstb is good, but in iksose: 3, its kinda mediocre.

B 02-16-2005 06:24 PM

Personally, I think that SSTB is better. There are, of course some really good songs on iksose:3 but SSTB has a better sound to it. Also, I like Claudio's voice, I know a lot of people say they don't like Co & Ca because of his voice, but they wouldn't be the same band without it.

By the way, is there a release date on GAIBS IV VO:FFTTEOM yet? (****, it even looks really long like that)

PeenkPhloide 02-16-2005 09:34 PM
i really don't like this band. the songs are pretty long and i just get bored with it. the guitars are the only good part
I agree somewhat. A few, not all, songs tend to get boring. I'm not sure why, but it may be because I'm not really a big fan of the genre. But I do like their overall sound.

cobert 02-18-2005 08:32 PM

Does anyone have predictions on what the next cd will be about? Seeing as its volume one, i have no idea where to start, but volume deux i think will be mayo confronting claudio personally or vice versa.

hey, you're not cory! 02-18-2005 11:48 PM

i know the basics behind the next three cds. The next one (Volume 1) is going to be about the narrarator of the story and its going to step out of the Coheed and Cambria story for the album, but i'm not sure how're they're gonna do that. Volume 2 is going to be the conclusion of the story and the cd after that will be actually the beginning of it all, by which i mean it will actually come before SSTB chronologically
