It's funny than the English version of Du Hast is different than what the song is in German. "Du hast mich gefragen" translates to "You have asked me." I believe that the English version says something about "You Hate" or something like that.
What the hell are you talking about? Du hast mich gefragen does mean you have asked me in both German and English., Some people just thought that they were saying "You hate" because in German, "Du Hasst" means you "You Hate." It's the same word with different spellings and meanings. I like Rammstein. Mutter is my favorite album from them. |
have you guys heard the song zwitter that song is amazing

I've heard some of their stuff, Du Hast is my favorite so far, but I haven't heard that much of them. I might look into them more later when I don't have a whole list of stuff I want to get...
|
i used to hate the song seemann, but now i really like it. there's hardly any songs of theirs i don't like much, i don't really like stripped much though and that's just a cover.
i have all those live tracks already:P i found a site ages ago with like 10 entire mp3 concerts as well as a few ENTIRE wmv concerts, i downloaded heaps off there but now i lost the site :( |
i have to say my favourite song is either Stripped (just cus its so god **** funny!) and Links 2 3 4

Mutter is a good CD, and Adios is a great song off it. Not many people seem to mention it, but it's one of my favourites.
|
Rammstein is one of my favourite bands, saw them live in november this year, and it kicked ***. The live show is the best I've ever seen.

My dads friend used to manage the band that oli (bass player) was originaly in, pretty crazy.
|
so have you've seen em live

They've obviously been to the US many times, what with Family Values '98, etc. Besides, they have a huge number of fans in the US, so I see no reason why they wouldn't, although I've never seen them live.

I explained this earlier you idiot. "Du Hast" means "You have" "Du Hasst" means "You Hate." It's pronounced the same, but has two different meanings, and the root words are different, but when they are put into the second person present tense, they have the same form. |
