A_Perfect_Sonnet 01-06-2005 11:33 PM

it must be a sign of the apocolypse

jurialmunkey 01-07-2005 12:38 AM

Mind you, my song is pretty weird.

SubtleDagger 01-07-2005 01:58 AM

Song's up, it's pretty straightforward.

jurialmunkey 01-07-2005 02:26 AM

Good song Subtle... I like++

SubtleDagger 01-07-2005 02:27 AM

Pixiesfan will probably cream over the title.

jurialmunkey 01-07-2005 03:04 AM

I'm worried you're thinking about that sort of thing......

SubtleDagger 01-07-2005 03:25 AM

Haha, I'm not, just an observation. a_a

gaslight 01-07-2005 04:30 AM
I understand completely why you got rid of the community thread. What I was saying is that there was nowhere to post my dissapointment in the S&L forums because it was now gone, hence why I was posting it in here.

All my favourite writers from the S&L forum have gone... BlackBox, Ikikdababy, Ben, Hammy(Jim), gaslight, Reena(Saturnine Silence), Lowridden (occaisonaly posts, but not often), RollerQueen etc etc... I really miss Reena and Hammys work especially.
I'm around, just, not around.

ATC 01-07-2005 05:42 AM

interesting word.
major hospital vibe on a lot of songs yet. but me likes subtle's a lot. can't remember the last time he used the word 'she' in a song (ps: do NOT post a link to when he did)
jmunk, i know i should probably check a dictionary instead, but whats an ataxia (sp?)?

on a related note, i scratched my wrist from a broken guitar string. i feel so emo.

i think its strange that subtle deletes a thread because people in it dont post exclusively about s&l. kind of reminds me of some german historical figure...

SubtleDagger 01-07-2005 10:04 AM

David Hasselhoff?

I closed it because people were spamming the hell out of it. People in here know better, they spam in moderation.

pixiesfanyo 01-07-2005 10:16 AM

Yeah, plus our spam has a point rather than.

OMG Today, I bought a bagel. LOLZ LOLZ.

xKONRADx 01-07-2005 10:34 AM

^ completely untrue.
too bad someone deleted the thread though, otherwise we could compare. then you could admit that i am right.

jurialmunkey 01-07-2005 10:49 AM

Yeah.. I don't think the S&L Thread was so bad... it was mostly because of Mozza and theredwonder and Lizzy that Subtle closed it (but especially Morrissey). Mozza is just a post whore who needs to get a life. Joined Sept 2004 and already has 4500+ posts... that's saying something.

I just realised when I did a thread search that I've lost alot of posts because I generally just post in this forum and it seems like it only goes back to challenge 40 something... Are those other challenges in the archives or what???

*goes to check again*

SubtleDagger 01-07-2005 10:52 AM

BS. I'll quote the entire second to last page for you to give you an idea of what I'm talking about if I have to.

If you want to be specific I have actually made 6500+ posts.

SubtleDagger 01-07-2005 11:02 AM
If you want to be specific I have actually made 6500+ posts.
Yes well, 2000 don't exist anymore, and either way, 2000 more posts makes you look even worse.

jurialmunkey 01-07-2005 11:11 AM

So I think the archive goes back to like challenge 37 or something... I was interested in reading those older challenges and seeing what my writing was like. Are they gone forever???

SubtleDagger 01-07-2005 11:18 AM

Those are just ones you've posted.

Disco Dragon 01-07-2005 06:12 PM

Wow...I didn't even realize they went back to Challenge 37. I was actually looking for the song that I won my only challenge with, but I couldn't find it. Oh well. Just wanted to see how I actually won a challenge, and what I wrote to win it.

Oh, and as far as the depletion of good writers on this forum go, I think we still have some potentially good ones around, but they're just not as steadily good as some of the ones you listed JMunk.

gaslight 01-07-2005 06:12 PM

e-Authoritarian rule is very underrated.

pixiesfanyo 01-07-2005 09:02 PM

Jurial look in the archives :)

d0ped0g 01-08-2005 05:25 AM

meh i hav no probs with the word, and in fact found i could use it quite easily and creatively
its definately unconventional... but even if it is a challenge in itself to fit the word in, the better writers will rise up to it

pixiesfanyo 01-08-2005 07:37 PM

I always thought all your lyrics were written in the intent of them being hip-hop songs Dfelon..

Guess I was wrong there.

RunAmokRampant 01-09-2005 05:37 AM

Are you allowed to post the song you put in the challenge in the other songwriting forum?

d0ped0g 01-09-2005 05:43 AM

i guess so or else i'd be in the ****
sez nothing about it in the rules... and theres no logical reason why not

xKONRADx 01-09-2005 11:01 AM
Are you allowed to post the song you put in the challenge in the other songwriting forum?
Yes.

RunAmokRampant 01-09-2005 03:54 PM

ok thanks. Although I checked the rules I thought I might ask before just in case
