Speaking of lyrics, is there any actual meaning to the lyrics of Crown of Horns other then satan worship?

I love cryptopsy they are freaking awesome....lord worm has such a unique vocalist and well Flo Mounier is one of the best drummers around so yeah they are awesome.

really? I often feel like the snare during blast beats just isn't loud enough on Nile albums.

Well Lord Worm's vocals have been a huge turn off for me but after seeing everyone's reaction and Berner's pictures/thread I'd better try them again.

This band are MY favorite death metal band for sure, the rythm section is amazing, ERIC LONGLOIS! is a red hot bass player, really top notch. Im pleased Mike Disalvio wont be onn the next album though, I think it brings down the brutal-ness.

I love what I have heard from cryptopsy but sadly I have not heard much.

I've heard about two songs by them. I can not stand the way that guy screams. But the music is Ok.

Especially some of the vocals in Open Face Surgery. Where it sounds like he's almost barking sort of.

THIS TRACK IS AWSOME! that harmonic break is well good, the vocals dont sound alot better then Mike though...

Well it's been a while since I read it now, but I think the bits that stood out were that Flo had started utilising "double blastbeats" (however that works) and broken his old personal best performance, and that Lord Worm himself has a track with a scream 50% longer again than the Open Face Surgery one. Something like that, I think.

Actually Jake (their sound guy who I chat with regularly) said that the scream you are referring to is going to be a minute or more.

So is there any release date yet?

They're still recording as far as I know. Jake hasn't been around the studio much lately due to other commitments.

Oh, well, I've heard rumors about end of the year-ish. That'd be very cool if thats when it came out.

Im just starting to get into Cryptopsy. The music is great, and insane but im still trying to get used to the vocals.

Flo Mournier is an insane and awesome drummer! Other than him I wouldn't listen to Cryptopsy, well maybe just for fun..
