The songs on the wall were written out of water's experience. The film The Wall wasn't 100 percent water's life but there are some similar parts. Maybe a bit of Sid barret's life in there too.

Waters is probably the best concept album creator out there.

I don't mean to knock Sid or anything, because I totally dig psych and early Floyd, but Waters really took that band in the right direction. A sane one.

Personally, watching a movie while stoned is probably my favorite thing to do.

a) I really appreciate movies/literature
b) Every seems to be much more profound while high.

Case in point: Trainspotting. I've watched the movie about 10 times.

I watched it high, and understood it about 3X more.

If you don't get high, you can't understand.

I disagree with that last statement. One can understand movies when not high, it's just so much easier if you are.

Yeah, watching films whilst high is pretty cool, everything gets to you more, because you have to concentrate really hard to follow.

I've never been high.. :\
