Mad Caddies eh? AWESOME!! We've had "Catch 22 Vs Voodoo Glows Skulls" comparisons before....
Dude your band seriously kicks the crap out of a lot of 'big' ska bands!
(Those three are pretty good though :thumb: ).
When do you guys plan on recording some more material?

Skulls&Trombones 08-09-2004 12:20 PM

Rob_J_Destruction 08-10-2004 02:18 PM

yeh!! we're digging the compliments!! Cheers loads!!

We'll be recording after we finish our tour (5th Nov-14th Nov), hopefully a mini album, depending on funds! We;re still trying to fill tour dates, so if anyone knows any promoters in the UK who might be up for giving us a show in those dates drop me mail or something!

Yeh we played with the Filaments a while back (21st May), awesome fellas!

Mr Benners 08-18-2004 04:34 PM

Should probably tell you that as much as I like the name, I was listnening to Kerrang!radio and heard some welsh band called 'weapons of mass belief'. They're about to release a record so you guys might have problems with the similarities in the names.
By the way I promise that I'll buy the album soon.
Really, I would have got it sooner but I've been away for a week.

i've sometimes heard this sort of music...it's great and all, but it just seems funny how you're sometimes screaming and yelling like a hardcore rocker and then a trumpet plays....sorry, but to me, they sound like circus songs....

but...

overall, it's still pretty good....stick with it and u could possibly make it

bof22 08-18-2004 09:33 PM

haha awesome stuff. Reminds me of Reel Big Fish, with the diffrent instruments and ****. good stuff.

Rob_J_Destruction 08-21-2004 09:52 AM

circus songs!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! awesome!

Yeh Weapons of Mass Destruction....what a lame name...*ahem*...:D

what kinda tunes do they play?

Mr Benners 08-22-2004 08:42 AM

urrr... not ska-core, thats for sure. I only heard it once (thank god) and it really sucked. Sort of post-hardcore/indie crud. Bored the hell out of me.

Rob_J_Destruction 08-22-2004 12:32 PM

really? dang nammit, i wanna get in touch with 'em just to say "hi...we've got a similar name"....but i cant find anykinda contact thingy...ahwell

Great band!

spongebath01 10-08-2004 05:25 PM

Kick ***

Spectrum 10-08-2004 08:47 PM

I was a big fan of this, and this isn't even a genre I'm big into. I think that the songwriting and brass orchestration was well-written and simply quality, and the overall band work was cohesive and attractive. You guys are doing a great job. Keep it up! I might have to order a CD on this one.

-Mike

Don;t really like the whole ska thing and this is no real exception. All your songs sound the same to be, but everyone else seems to be digging it and you ain't band as a band. I hate ska/punk with brass in it though.

Rob_J_Destruction 10-29-2004 04:54 AM

well, if u hate ska/punk with brass in it, and dont really like the whole ska thing.....we were doomed from the start :(

ibanez_k5 10-29-2004 05:02 AM

with the album name being greatist hits number 2, do you already have a lot of stuff out?

Rob_J_Destruction 10-29-2004 09:10 AM

nah, thats our "debut"....we formed in Feb....thought it was funny...turns out it wasnt!

But then those pesky welsh fellas GLC released their debut as "greatest hits Vol 1"

soooo people though we just copied them, rubbishness!! I think we're recording again in Feb '05

IwantAcookie 10-29-2004 09:00 PM

Sounds like something I would expect while playing Tony Hawk...I like it.

frankblackandco 10-30-2004 07:15 AM
