coheneran 06-28-2006 05:30 PM
Was that the slsk name as well?
My full first name is DuJuan, I made SantaDuJuan as an AIM screen name 2 years ago around Christmas, and I've just stuck with it.

Gay Anarchy is punX is my Soulseek name, I've been denied people's files because they think I'm gay before.

AIRIC 06-28-2006 06:33 PM

ha remember that one time when you were all "I'm bi punx"

sketchyjoe 06-28-2006 06:59 PM

Ska's great.
Anarcho's great.
Grunge's great.

sketchyjoe 06-28-2006 07:03 PM

You should start a Queercore Skanarcho-Grunge band.

SantaDuJuan 06-28-2006 07:19 PM

Only in my dreams.

I thought this clip from a documentary was kind of funny.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0IZdP3x66Y

But I was really wondering if anyone knows who does the song that plays in it that goes "I do drugs and get drunk"? It keeps getting stuck in my head, and it's bothering me that I can't figure it out.
Haha. How did you find that thing?
I being an insomniac a few nights ago I and was searching random things on youtube. I searched "punk documentary" and that was one of the results.

Flagjacket 06-28-2006 09:25 PM

How come Doc'umentary always turns into d0cumentary?

asdf 06-28-2006 09:27 PM

I don't know. That's really odd.

Danger Bird 06-28-2006 11:06 PM

I really dislike Europe by Ghost Mice. I loved The Debt of the Dead, though.

Flagjacket 06-28-2006 11:07 PM

It makes me look dumb in the What Are You Listening To Thread.

Brain Toad 06-28-2006 11:19 PM
How come Doc'umentary always turns into d0cumentary?
Because it censors document which was an effort to stop cookie stealing.

Danger Bird 06-28-2006 11:26 PM

What the document?

AIRIC 06-28-2006 11:50 PM

IS THERE A GUY NAMED LED ZEPPELIN IN REAL LIFE????@??@?@!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

tell me!

Liebensaft 06-29-2006 12:07 AM

I don't know, but tonight was amazing. I saw Latterman with Yo Man, Go! (good band, who I'm now sharing on slsk) at the same kickass venue I saw Mischief Brew at. It was real small and the people are all great.

Latterman was amazing. And the greatest part was the story the one dude told. He was making a cd for his friend of the new songs, and since they were on his computer, they got shared when he used soulseek. And Kevin got them. And talked to the guy. Kevin was probably one of the first ten people outside of the band/producer people who got the new stuff.

I got a Latterman shirt. It's light blue and says "fucking biking" with Latterman under it. And there's an outline of a guy biking. I can't wait to see if people notice what it says. It's not very noticable.

GREAT NIGHT.

Flagjacket 06-29-2006 12:12 AM

I Am Mx Legend.

Brain Toad 06-29-2006 12:22 AM

I didn't get it from Kevin...

Flagjacket 06-29-2006 12:51 AM

Europe is the musical equivalent of someone showing you their holiday pictures. You know they had fun, but if you weren't there it's about as boring as watching grass grow.

I really like that analogy.

At least I think analogy is the term I'm looking for.

coheneran 06-29-2006 04:36 AM

I like Europe. Not for the music, but I enjoy putting it on before I go to sleep and listening to the stories. Like when they met the pikey and slept in a gypsy bus.

you'd be right in saying analogy. metaphor would also work.

I haven't listened to that album but I despise ghost mice.

coheneran 06-29-2006 05:51 AM

Joe, I'll send you the King Blues shall I?

sketchyjoe 06-29-2006 05:53 AM

That'd be awesome.

I told Tom I wanted him to have my babies and my dad made f'ucking friends with the bass player (forgot his name) and it turns out that he likes to hike about 20 minutes from where we live.

I also met the Bouncing Souls and the Buzzcocks. And the Buzzcocks sang What Do I Get with some of the guys from the Casualties and all of Anti Flag and some of the guys from Valient Thorr and the 'Souls.

4K posts.

Angry Balled Fists! 06-29-2006 10:15 AM

Rise Me Up 06-29-2006 10:18 AM

Yeah. My dad was gonna give him our number and tell him next time he was in the area to stop by but he forgot. Lol, how cool would that have been?

Flagjacket 06-29-2006 10:20 AM

Brad if he was in your house you'd just be in a corner with a boner the whole time.

Rise Me Up 06-29-2006 10:22 AM

F'uck right I would.
