My mate bought a Stagg off of ebay. It was a pile of bollocks, the pickups moved, the neck was bent and the machine heads were loose. He thinks there's nothing wrong wih it but he's an idiot  Is his just a one off ebay buy i assume? Or are all Stagg's that bad?

The Walkmen are massive here (London area) I don't like them, but they have an album in the charts and they seem to be everywhere!

Fernandes Power 01-13-2005 11:34 AM

The Walkmen suck...

voiceless one 01-13-2005 11:42 AM

I am being forced to sell 2 The Used tickets for Brixton on Saturday so I have some spare money....do I buy a new pickguard for my Pbass or get a Dean bass with 5 strings? Are Dean basses any good? I know nospecs on this bass.

Fernandes Power 01-13-2005 11:46 AM

If you know nothing about it then why get it?

Nobbers 01-13-2005 11:55 AM

hey all, everyone i ask has never heard of them, o well, and they DO NOT suck, there ace :D

voiceless one 01-13-2005 12:04 PM
If you know nothing about it then why get it?
I know nothing about it simply because I never looked at the headstock for details. It is just a passing remark - just wondering f they are good in terms of build and sustain etc. Obviously I will try it before I buy tc to see if iyt feels good. I justw anted some info on what I can expect in the time after I have brought it, like does it stay in tune well and does the neck bend? Those kinda things.

|Russ|

Fernandes Power 01-13-2005 12:07 PM

Well... Im guessing that since its the same price as a pickguard...? Itll probably be sh.ite?

Jamie 01-13-2005 12:08 PM

voiceless one 01-13-2005 12:09 PM
Well... Im guessing that since its the same price as a pickguard...? Itll probably be sh.ite?
|Russ|

Fernandes Power 01-13-2005 12:13 PM
