its a lot for fast food

and eating out in general is a huge ass rip off

you can make a burrito for 1.50 to 2 bucks

adbforever 07-28-2012 02:29 PM

and seriously bro you must be on edge from not drinking

please cry more from me making one post

witchxrapist 07-28-2012 02:29 PM

thank you for the second part of the post

common knowledge is so inaccessible these days

Bread and Faxes 07-28-2012 02:29 PM

True, you could. But you pay for someone to make that shit for you and serve it to you with the "top notch" ingredients. Sure, I can eat for $3. I'll also eat a lot of preservatives.

Bread and Faxes 07-28-2012 02:30 PM

And don't get me wrong, I know fast food is crap, but Chipotle from my experience has a way better standard of quality. Hence why I don't mind paying for their food.

witchxrapist 07-28-2012 02:30 PM
YOU DIDN'T MOCK ME FYI, YOU'RE ACTUALLY CRYING
you caught me dude

publicastration 07-28-2012 02:31 PM

8 for QUALITY FOOD (actually 9.50 cause I got their bomb ass guac) isn't bad

there's no way you could make a burrito with carnitas, cilantro lime brown rice, black beans, 2 different salsas, sour cream and cheese and guac for 2 bucks brent

adbforever 07-28-2012 02:31 PM

bread and faxes doesn't realize there are these things called markets

they have the same ingredients you're getting from chipotle.

publicastration 07-28-2012 02:33 PM

Brent clearly has never been to a market or he'd know just the pork alone would be way more expensive than 2 bucks

Bread and Faxes 07-28-2012 02:33 PM

Yes I do, but adb doesn't know that prices differ based on area and supply and demand. That shit is expensive. Guaranteed, I'd end up spending just the same if not more making it myself. I like cooking and preparing my own food, but when you're at work and on break and hungry, you're not going to walk a mile and a half back to your house to make a goddamn burrito.

publicastration 07-28-2012 02:35 PM

speaking of markets I just bought some heirloom tomatoes the other day and HOLY SHIT

did not know a tomato could taste that good

adbforever 07-28-2012 02:35 PM
Brent clearly has never been to a market or he'd know just the pork alone would be way more expensive than 2 bucks
no it wouldnt

you can get 6 servings of carnitas for 6 dollars here

Bread and Faxes 07-28-2012 02:36 PM

not to mention prep time, carnitas is slow cooked for hours and then you'd be making 2 salsas and rice on top of that

adbforever 07-28-2012 02:36 PM

nope, it was actually really good for premade

adbforever 07-28-2012 02:37 PM

dudes you get so butthurt from me making one bait lol

mexican food is easily the best food because of all the ingredients involved

chipotle is ok but I'd rather just go to del taco and get full for 2-5 dollars\

Bread and Faxes 07-28-2012 02:38 PM
nope, it was actually really good for premade
Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder. And my whispering eye says I don't want Pork. I prefer Chicken or Beef. Not cheap.

You didn't make me butthurt. That giant penis penetrating my anal sphincter did.

publicastration 07-28-2012 02:39 PM

Brent just doesn't have a palate think that's why he's not willing to pay more for better

adbforever 07-28-2012 02:44 PM

chicken is cheaper than pork

publicastration 07-28-2012 02:45 PM

Okay

I got a PORK burrito. we were talking about the price of making a burrito similar to what I had

Bread and Faxes 07-28-2012 02:45 PM

Not that super chicken, yo.

publicastration 07-28-2012 02:47 PM

also there's no such thing as chicken carnitas

adbforever 07-28-2012 02:51 PM

i was talking to b&f

and luc, i never specified ingredients or size of a burrito you can make for 2 dollars

pound of chicken - 2 bucks

10 tortillas - 2 bucks

big can of pinto beans - 2 bucks

cheese - 3 bucks

tomatoes - 1 dollar

there you have enough for 10 burritos.

adbforever 07-28-2012 02:53 PM

want rice? add 2 bucks

want guac? 4 bucks

onions? 2 bucks

for less than 20 bucks you can make 10 burritos w/ everything

witchxrapist 07-28-2012 02:53 PM
bread and faxes doesn't realize there are these things called markets
there is literally nothing he said that implies that
they have the same ingredients you're getting from chipotle.
so you're saying every single market ever has the same exact ingredients?

witchxrapist 07-28-2012 02:56 PM
dudes you get so butthurt from me making one bait lol
yeah dude, you didn't get told you're wrong

you were actually trolling us and we're mad at you

Bread and Faxes 07-28-2012 02:56 PM

Wtf making pizza is way fucking cheaper than all.

adbforever 07-28-2012 02:58 PM
Sure, I can eat for $3. I'll also eat a lot of preservatives
he said this, which implies cheap food must be "full of preservatives"

when actuality, you can go to a market and buy everything fresh w/ no preservatives.

and no, im not saying every market has the same exact ingredients, why am i even arguing w/ you, you're a sad human being

Bread and Faxes 07-28-2012 02:59 PM

yOU'RE NOT GETTING THE POINT BRO. FRIUTS AND VEGGIES ARE EXPENSIVE ROUND HERE.

publicastration 07-28-2012 02:59 PM

still need cilantro, limes, corn, for the rice and salsas. few other things to make real guac etc. and dam, everything is more expensive here Brent. chicken is 2 and a half times that here even shitty supermarket chicken

illmitch 07-28-2012 03:00 PM

ugh brent have you never taken an economics class

time = money

when you take the time to purchase and make your own food, you give up the opportunity of spending that time in a different way (its called an opportunity cost)

people elect to eat out because they don't want to take the time to make their own food

Bread and Faxes 07-28-2012 03:01 PM

Yeah, quac in itself takes a few ingredients. Mangos, Parsley, Potatos and dragonfruit.

adbforever 07-28-2012 03:01 PM

all that shit would cost like two bucks luc.

basically you can still make a burrito w/ all your stuff for about 2 bucks.

witchxrapist 07-28-2012 03:01 PM

no it wouldnt. things are more expensive in cities you retard.
he said this, which implies cheap food must be "full of preservatives"
this doesn't mean he doesn't know what a market is

you're sitting alone arguing with people because they said an $8 meal isn't expensive, and i'm a "sad human being"? okay
