Ok there is totally something wrong with me.

So I've been sick for like a week almost, with a stomach flu type thing, and I've been really tired. A couple days ago I started getting muscle spasms in my back, and then yesterday my face was twitching and it was really weird. My throat also feels kinda swollen and its kind of hard to swallow, and now I've just discovered I have a rash all over my arms.
WTF

Maybe I should go to the doctor

Verdas 03-03-2008 11:10 PM

sounds like you got a combo pack.

Berk 03-03-2008 11:19 PM
I am in Calgary. You wanna trade some cymbals for fun or what?
I don't play drums tbh.

Me and some people are putting on a huge concert at the end of april, was going to say you should come, but it'd be like a 3 hour drive for you.

What is huge? I will come, my band is up for anything like that. Check it out www.johnnyandtheband.com we just got back from a 5 month tour of west coast USA and mexico, and obviously western Canada as well. Where is it, whats the occasion?

Win A Rabbit 03-04-2008 01:15 AM

verdas: we're going for a 9 hour concert, with a main stage and an acoustic stage. all the proceeds are going to the youth emergency shelter society.

fuk. conservatives won 73 out of 83 seats.

how the fuk do they keep winning? 37 years straight. that's insane.

Verdas 03-04-2008 01:22 AM

GIVE ME THE DAMN DETAILS> We will be there. Maybe record it for even more proceeds and sell our own version of LIVEAID! haha. Honestly dude, where is it? WHo's playing?

oliv_da_skinmasher 03-04-2008 08:07 AM

I wanna play too. Aint played in weeks:(

Drum Phil 03-04-2008 08:43 AM

Ive been jamming :)

Got the kit back to a bog standard 1 up, 2 down setup with Hats, ride, 2 crashes, china and a bell piggybacking the ride.

oliv_da_skinmasher 03-04-2008 08:46 AM

Cool man. I'm book into some community centre to play on the 10th. But the place sucks. Crap acoustics and my band aint allowed to go now

Panopticon 03-04-2008 08:47 AM

i need to mark my carpet with tape...something i really don't wanna do.

Drum Phil 03-04-2008 08:51 AM

Yeah i need to redo that sometime for when i actually use stands. And i need to outline my pedals.

I might just get a cheap white rug and use marker.

Panopticon 03-04-2008 08:55 AM

i change my setup too much to use something permanent

Drum Phil 03-04-2008 09:06 AM

True.

Little Android Man 03-04-2008 09:06 AM

Mornin

oliv_da_skinmasher 03-04-2008 09:07 AM

God I can't wait to move house. Finally be able to play at home

Drum Phil 03-04-2008 09:19 AM

I can just reach over my shoulder and stroke my hats :D

oliv_da_skinmasher 03-04-2008 09:21 AM

STFU

It really sucks not being able to play. I feel like I should be better than I am but i've never been able to work on things on the kit

Panopticon 03-04-2008 09:22 AM
I can just reach over my shoulder and stroke my hats :D
i can get my aux hats, snare, or floor tom...

wudup zep?

Drum Phil 03-04-2008 09:23 AM

Without moving i can get my hats, snare, tom and main crash. If i stretch i can get my ride and floor toms.

Panopticon 03-04-2008 09:23 AM

i found a new lover, and his name is blake richardson.

Sunshine 03-04-2008 09:32 AM

Omfg.
Its snowing SO MUCH out, and I reaaaaaaaaaaaally don't have the appropriate footwear to be walking in this, plus, almost nobody's going to go to class 'cause most people are commuters.
But they won't cancel because its midterms/finals (for 8-week classes) week >=/

oliv_da_skinmasher 03-04-2008 09:39 AM

Barefoot it.

Barefoot in the snow is fun, till you loose the feeling

Kainen 03-04-2008 10:10 AM
Just swallowed my pride and wrote an in depth apology for doing absolutely nothing... so let's see how that works out.
get used to it.

Panopticon 03-04-2008 10:13 AM

im working on growling and playing

Kainen 03-04-2008 10:23 AM

btw.. i gigged for 6 years and never used tape.. after awhile you just kinda know where your stuff needs to be. it slowly changes around over the years with preference but really? tape? I see people do it and I just dont understand why. dont you know how to build a kit around your body? just my 2 cents.

Panopticon 03-04-2008 10:31 AM

i change my setup a lot...and i have a big setup...

i just want to get it down fast. and start playing.

I dont think i've ever gigged with the same setup twice...but this setup is my most comfy and is not going anywhere in the forseeable future.

Janeway 03-04-2008 10:33 AM

I want to learn to throat sing. Lulz.

Kainen 03-04-2008 10:33 AM

if anything, tape you're pedals and nothing else, just to be centered on you're carpet.

Panopticon 03-04-2008 10:37 AM

well...all i'll really be taping is pedals, and where the feet of my rack go...

other then that, (i have two other cymbal stands and two floor toms and such) it's all cake.

Panopticon 03-04-2008 10:37 AM
I want to learn to throat sing. Lulz.
inward screaming is pwn...

and really easy.

Drum Phil 03-04-2008 10:39 AM

Throat singing =/= screaming
