There's no pictures on that site that show a good avatar...

/me is flipping through just pictures.

slowhand 09-26-2004 10:51 AM

I've seen a few, of course, after some editing.

I found this there. I'm assuming your avatar is one taken from a very small pic, if so, this would look better... I think.

EDIT: Another Cream gallery. You might find something worthwhile here.

Broken Arrow 09-26-2004 11:17 AM

Yeah you should start with a smaller picture and it will look better.

I have a good Ringo one but i dont know how to post it:(

slowhand 09-26-2004 11:23 AM

Try a hosting website like Photobucket to upload the picture. Or if it's on a website just post the link.

Broken Arrow 09-26-2004 11:46 AM

meh ......i dont feel like registering

MalcolmYoungRock 09-26-2004 11:51 AM

Is it a picture on your comp or is it a picture off the internet.

Right Click<Properties to get the url to the picture.
Cover 'Birthday' for me ;)
Make RockandRoll or slowhand do it. Slowhand already has, and Rock has a band.

And me...well...no comment...

Woodstock 09-26-2004 12:28 PM

Wish I had a band.

BludgeonySteve 09-26-2004 12:29 PM

I do too. I need a drummer and singer and a keyboard player would be nice but that's optional.

Woodstock 09-26-2004 12:31 PM

I can play crappy chord piano.

Back to the b&w avatar. When the color thing happens, all be ready.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-26-2004 12:32 PM

I can.. uh... sit there and look cool? I don't know...

BludgeonySteve 09-26-2004 01:09 PM

Keyboards always make a band better. It's a fact.

Woodstock 09-26-2004 01:12 PM

Yes indeed.

Badmoon 09-26-2004 01:14 PM

Keyboardist/synthesist = cheesy

pianist/organist =

BludgeonySteve 09-26-2004 01:17 PM

A good musician can play any of them. And I don't like synth very much. Plus, the only time i've heard organ work in rock is The Doors.

Woodstock 09-26-2004 01:17 PM

synthesist=great if used correctly

Ex. Pink Floyd

slowhand 09-26-2004 01:17 PM

I could cover Birthday again, it's a pretty cool song to play, but I had a fight with my drummer and now he doesn't want to play with us anymore. And the bad part is, he is the only one who can record us in a computer and even do it in video format... so, I don't think it could happen now.

And I don't think a keyboard player makes a band better. It just brings more stability into a rock trio format (guitar, bass and drums; the essentials). But another guitar can do the same thing.

jpj 09-26-2004 01:19 PM
Keyboards always make a band better. It's a fact.
BludgeonySteve 09-26-2004 01:20 PM

jpj 09-26-2004 01:31 PM

that song owns

Paranoidd 09-26-2004 02:04 PM
what does the host do?
The host will run the FTP server, meaning he (or she) will "host" all of the music. All users will connect directly to the host, so any downloading will use the hosts upload bandwidth, and anybody uploading to the host will use download bandwith. Basically the host will be the server, serving the rest of the people.

slowhand 09-26-2004 02:06 PM

Who has the fastes connection?

And Paranoidd, have you heard Rush's cover of "Crossroads"?

Paranoidd 09-26-2004 02:17 PM

I have a decent connection, just not alot of free HD space. My ISP has a strict policy against FTP's, I don't want to lose my connection.

Rush - Feedback - 08 - Crossroads

It's a great cover. I was trying to play it last night, I think I learned about 4 seconds of the song.

slowhand 09-26-2004 02:25 PM

It's a pretty hard song. Ever hear Cream's version?

And I think the host should be someone with a high connection, maybe a cable connection. Mine's too slow...
