Dimmu Burger 09-08-2008 04:24 PM

The new Bleeding Through is close to blackcore as well.

Ouch my neck!

beans 09-08-2008 04:25 PM

im looking forward to it, i put it up on the review site, probably end up reviewing it for shits and giggles

2muchket! 09-08-2008 04:26 PM

Blackcore lmao

It's gunna happen sometime

beans 09-08-2008 04:26 PM

cmon man abigail williams basically is

Tyler 09-08-2008 04:27 PM

i heard a new abigail williams song and there was nothing black, core or good about it

Phantom 09-08-2008 04:37 PM
downloading the new bleeding through finally
New Bleeding Through is pretty decent. I laughed at the "tonight we dine in hell" at the end of the intro, plus Declaration is a good first track after the intro. Death Anxiety is pretty juicy too.

Yeah, I said juicy.

beans 09-08-2008 04:38 PM

juicy fruit

well i've heard that song orange county black and blue and it was pretty decent, a little different, im hoping their not so medlodic

that was my biggest problem with the truth

Phantom 09-08-2008 04:41 PM

OCBAB is different, most of the other songs on the album are heavier IMO

beans 09-08-2008 04:43 PM

good, i always thought their best album was portrait of the goddess

Phantom 09-08-2008 04:46 PM

Yeah the first 3 tracks on that are my favourite BT songs. Their heaviest album too.

Saviour, Saint, Salvation was good too even with M Shadows appearance.
i heard a new abigail williams song and there was nothing black, core or good about it
beans 09-08-2008 04:48 PM
M Shadows appearance.
wait what?
i love that album how did i miss this?

Phantom 09-08-2008 04:58 PM
they have a negro in their band now doncha know ?
Epic Lulz.

Oh and bunit: yeah he does guest vocals on Saviour, Saint, Salvation; the clean ones "Now I am free and I can see right through you" etc

beans 09-08-2008 05:02 PM

i did not know that but it does sound like him

and this album is really good so far

Phantom 09-08-2008 05:08 PM

I really like the intro and, as I mentioned, the 300 sample.

beans 09-08-2008 05:10 PM

its so out of place lol
but i like how it launches right in after that
and so far there isnt much melody but the keys have been pulled way higher in the mix
There Was A Flood has some nice melody to it

Phantom 09-08-2008 05:17 PM

Yeah they did mix Marta higher, I guess they're trying to go with what's 'in' atm, I dunno...

Already like this more than The Truth though.

beans 09-08-2008 05:18 PM

Oh hell yeah, Brandons vocals on Reborn From Isolation is the ****, he has a lot more variation, and the breakdown right before the solo is ****ing well placed

Phantom 09-08-2008 05:23 PM

His vocals are a lot more varied and improved on this album However, I wanted him to do a pre-breakdown shout again like the "Bring It!" in Dead Like Me...lol.

beans 09-08-2008 05:34 PM

Wow the last song sounds epic as ****
ill definitly be reviewing this

Phantom 09-08-2008 05:43 PM

It is epic, very good clean vocals too.

Tbh, the whole album is great. I really like the sound of Derek's blasting with the ride bell as well.

I'll defnitely be reading your review.

beans 09-08-2008 05:45 PM

It really is good, i need a little more time with it, but everything on it sounds really good.

botb 09-08-2008 07:00 PM

My current deathcore album that i've been listening to a lot is still continent. Seriously JFC is so ****ing intense.

Dimmu Burger 09-08-2008 07:01 PM

Still rocking this Abigail Williams album. Very good, very Dimmu Borgiresque.

beans 09-08-2008 07:02 PM

I still have not heard that entire album yet, i've heard doctor doom and it was pretty damn good

botb 09-08-2008 07:09 PM
I still have not heard that entire album yet, i've heard doctor doom and it was pretty damn good
dude you need to get that album, i think it's their best so far.

Phantom 09-08-2008 07:11 PM

I agree, Dr. Doom is great. In fact all of Continent is.

Has anyone seen the myspace video with the AS vocalist vincent giving reasons to buy the album/people to buy it for? it made me chuckle anyway.

EDIT: Some of the lyrics are pretty intense, and ****ed up. Like in Baby Buster:

"I don't sing ****ing love songs, because there's nothing in this world for me to love. I want the world to have my rape baby, so when it's born I can strangle it to death"

beans 09-08-2008 07:13 PM

lol yeah i did catch that somewhere, i think on their myspace or something.
I will definitely need to download Continent tonight, although i really like Dead Walk so that will be hard to top
for me anyways

Dimmu Burger 09-08-2008 07:15 PM

Yeah it didn't top The Dead Walk for me, but its still new, we'll see.
