On eBay I see a $80 one, not met it's reserve, and a few ~$150 BINs.

Captain Kirk 07-02-2006 04:42 PM

What about this one?

It'd need a nut though

Country Doctor 07-02-2006 04:49 PM

Hello. :thumb:

I'm siding towards getting an LTD guitar of some sort soon, but I'll be getting it from America, and won't have a guitar for a few weeks. I don't mind the break because it'll probably be a bit more exciting for the wait and that, and I'll probably have more fun with the guitar than I am now.

It's been an incredibly long and hot day today as well.

AG 07-02-2006 04:49 PM

Speaking of nuts, I bought a graphite nut for my project tele, £1.50.

Needs the string guides re-doing mind.

Captain Kirk 07-02-2006 05:19 PM

Man it got to 101 in the shade here today

Hella hot

Ezekiel 07-02-2006 05:23 PM

Where do you live?

Ezekiel 07-02-2006 05:36 PM

Bristol.

srs, everything exists in, comes from and goes to bristol.

On the storm - strange thing is, I decided to record the thunderstorm. Not quite sure why, but it was kinda fun :D

Country Doctor 07-02-2006 05:41 PM

I've been to Bristol. The zoo and Asda, cos the motorway was busy :upset:

overturned 07-02-2006 05:41 PM

I swear lightning struck something somewhere reet close to me, the noise was incredible.

Country Doctor 07-02-2006 05:43 PM

Perhaps it was one of your many earrings or necklaces.

Ezekiel 07-02-2006 05:45 PM
I've been to Bristol. The zoo and Asda, cos the motorway was busy :upset:
All zoos and all asdas are in bristol.

Neighbours is shot in Bristol.

The Empire State towers over Bristol, next to the sears tower, also in Bristol.

The Louvre is just around the corner from the Musee d'Orsay in Bristol.

MX HQ is in Bristol.

Methinks you get my point.

Abu-Abu 07-02-2006 05:59 PM

When blocking your tremelo I don't lock it anymore, or do I?
Can you explain the process and such for me?

I think that's what I'm going to do with my project one, just block the tremelo so I can use my S320 for standard tuning and for the tremelo, and the RGproject for my alternate tunings and backups.

Ezekiel 07-02-2006 06:00 PM

Don't lock it. Whenever you lock the nut, the tuning always shifts.

Still, I guess you could lock it if the fine tuners still operated fine.

Abu-Abu 07-02-2006 06:05 PM

Well yeah, I don't see why I would, considering it would be my guitar that I could change tunings on, I was just curious a bit on what I'm supposed to do.

So I just put something under the bridge, and unlock the nut, and that's all?

Nick 07-02-2006 06:09 PM

sup guys my internet's been down all day

but I'm here to say bye for now cause tomorrow I leave for a month's worth of intensive CITing at my summer camp

so you won't be hearing from me

overturned 07-02-2006 06:12 PM

cit?

Nick 07-02-2006 06:14 PM

counselor-in-training

they teach you how to look after the little kids and stuff

but in reality we just mess around and take advantage of the camp

overturned 07-02-2006 06:18 PM

That sounds like hell.

/can't stand children of all ages

Ezekiel 07-02-2006 06:19 PM

Most children of about 14 are alright, because they start becoming aware of the fact that kicking someone in the bollocks really isn't a very nice thing to do.

Nick 07-02-2006 06:22 PM

It's not so bad

the more enthusiastic you are (or pretend to be) the better the kids behave, and it becomes pretty effortless

Not all of the kids are small, and I'm not really looking at that bit, there are plenty of others to do that. I'm thinking along the lines of the guy who takes the older girls' cabins out on canoe trips and makes sure they don't get lost...

Captain Kirk 07-02-2006 06:24 PM

My friend is a CIT at camp, he really likes it

What camp is it?

overturned 07-02-2006 06:25 PM

I remember doing work experience in a school. I was enthusiastic as hell as for the most part it was quite fun but about 80-90% were either afraid or disrespectful little ****s.

Nick 07-02-2006 06:28 PM

RKY camp, Parham, Ontario

faaaaar away from missouri, I'm afraid

meh it's a fun time

and once you figure the whole kids thing out it becomes pretty easy to deal with them

Ezekiel 07-02-2006 06:33 PM

My work experience was at a sports shop

considering that I disagree with about 90% of sports, I think my school made a bad choice.

It was so degrading - I had to dress like a chav, and the boss was crap - beause I wasn't 16 at the time I wasn't legally allowed to operate a till or some shit like that, so I did all the ridiculously boring jobs. I did so many ridiculously boring jobs that the boss ran out of stuff for me to do, so he ended up making me make sure that all the coathangers were facing the right way round.

overturned 07-02-2006 06:34 PM

Wait, you didn't get a choice?
