It's not like someone waited until after he died to completely rewrite and rape the series.

Of course it lost a lot of the elements that make the radio, book, and television series so good, but what did you expect to happen in a 2 hour film?

the club is a smaller jazzier set up 18x14 bass 12x8 tom 14x14 floor ans 14x5 snare, whereas the maple is your standard 22x18, 10x8, 12x9, 14x14, 16x16

Oh hell, I'm not that bothered. I just wanted it to be more like the TV series. I suppose I should watch the film again, but I just didn't like the film version.

About Marvin though, just cause he's not serious doesn't mean he needs to be adorable. I don't see him as adorable myself. Again, each to their own.

Personally, I'd get the Maple, but it depends on what you play. Do you play jazz? Do you like the sound of jazzy kits? Do you prefer the "Fusion" kit sound?
