It's about the only thing that looks promising, whereas Rise Against covering Black Flag, Fall Out Boy covering Gorilla Biscuits and 'Emanuel' covering The Stooges are probably destined for disaster.

I agree. I think that songs like Walk Away and Eleanor Put Your Boots On really help the album, they stop it from getting too samey like the first one.

Anyway that's what I've been digging too. I like the album, it's not great, but it's solidified my opinion that they're by far the best band to come out of the whole new wave revival thing. Hell, FF and Bloc Party are really the only bands in that whole scene who've managed to make solid albums.

I think the Art Brut album is pretty solid.

Anyway, I'm downloading the FF album. But right now I'm listening to Rumors.

Okay, well it's a Factory records release and their only studio LP ('82). Along with most Factory releases, it's a moody post-punk record. The sound found here has more psychedelic influences than I initially anticipated, but it's fantastic. It's atmosphere is excellent and one of the best reasons for me to recommend it. I've only heard it a couple of times, but I'm [i]really[/i] enjoying it.
