Bah I have just returned from my first rehearsal for this stupid musical I agreed to do. Twas pretty crappy. I had never laid eyes on the music before or heard any of the songs, plus half the time my sheet music didn't match up with the real score! It was really retarded. Stupid musical.....

i tried that woofer thing with my old snare drum, but i didn't get any results. i tried to do it like the subkick thing. oh well.

i just cleaned my room (it was terrible, you couldn't see any carpet at all) it took me 15 minutes, and now a lady friend of mine is coming to pick me up right away. i don't know what we're gonna do, probably go to her house, maybe drive around, maybe walk, i don't know. we have 2 and a half hours to waste before the rest of my friends get home. any suggestions? (no she's not my girlfriend, she's with one of my best friends, so none of those suggestions...)

Ah yes, I feel you, same thing happened to me when I did a musical, and they kept changing the parts too. I also had to play with another drummer.

I had to put up with the most annoying arrogant swine of a drummer ever the other week.

So my band arrived at the venue with my drum kit. Walked in to find the headliner had already set up despite their being 3 supports. So the sound guy tells me to go find the drummer who's kit it is and ask if he'd move it. He looks at me and says simply, No. He says "you can use it but dont move any of it or i'll have you thrown out"

Not only is it a CB set but its ****in left handed! And none of the other drummers can play left or open handed. So the dick makes us set up in front of the amps to the left on a tiny stage.

They were ok. Only played covers. While i got **** loads of ****ing reverb from the amps that were close enough for me to lean on
