Surrealism is pretty cool. I don't know huge amounts about it, but i like Magritte and Tanguy, two of the more famous surrealists. But everyone loves Dali: Metamorphosis of Narcissus is my favourite of his. Ernst seems cool, so I'll check out some of his stuff.

Reason is very cool because you can actually construct music alot easier, like from scratch. If you're sampling/mixing stuff, then ACID is great, but if you want to write out some beats or chord sequences, then Reason is the way forward. I usually end up using a mix of the two because I like the ACID interface more.

I downloaded ACID and couldn't figure it out because I am stupid.

Adobe won't work for me anymore, so I have to use Audacity.

Audacity is really crappy for audio edition. You pull things off, but they sound very meh, all my stuff was done through Audacity.

I suggest you click on Acid Pro until something clicks of whatev

With ACID, its pretty easy to sample bits and pieces of songs, and mix them together. but for premade samples just go to a torrent site and type in loops or samples and you should be able to download a big package of them.

I think surf samples a lot of premade tracks but I strictly use loops or create my own drums, etc. Anyway, I get my loops off of torrents, but lately I've been getting them here:

Oh i see thanks guys. I did find a few loops just looking around im working on them at the moment, it's easier than i thought it would be to pick up. At the moment it's all still very one-dimensional beginner stuff though.

I did, but lately I've been using loops and stuff I got from torrents. Sampling everything was alot of effort. I have a few gigs worth of loops now though, which is cool.

I've actually been on ACID alot. I might set up a purevolume or soundclick page, I don't like putfile that much.
